If that's the case HE FAILED , so far, lmao!!!! How does he know that Otis is been working on the phone? Soul Bro...Are you Otis? Do you work for him? Can't say. However, even Denton and Kyler are reporting this now, too.

I would do the pick option in a heartbeat. -
Fact: Otis has been working the phones for a pf for weeks.

Zach can't defend at all. Plus, his salary is huge so it would take a lot to wheel and deal.

I went out on a limb here. I chose Jameer, not b/c I think he's the best by any stretch, but because I think he has the best chance to win the most championships (assuming he stays the starting pg next to D12).

Gasol talks about Franny Boy {Denton Blog}

More draft profile information: "Chad Ford's Analysis: This is the second big surprise of the night. He's long and bouncy, he works hard and he has a lot of experience overseas. He's low risk, but he doesn't have enormous upside. It will be interesting to see how the Magic use him with Dwight Howard. Both guys will be active, athletic and all over the boards. But where is the offense going to come from? One more question for Vazquez. Will he come to the NBA next season or is headed back to Spain? Draft Projection: No. 8 to 15 Similarities: Andris Biedrins with more offense and experience Notes: This year's Euro sleeper looks like it will be Vazquez. The 6-foot-10, 230 pound forward is averaging 11.3 ppg and 5.8 rpg in 20 mpg for Malaga this season. He's had a number of dominating games in Euroleague play, including a 17-point, 11-rebound effort versus Euroleague powerhouse CSKA Moscow and an impressive 19-point, seven-rebound effort against the German Opel Skyliners. Had a career high 26 points and 11 rebounds versus Jovenut in early April. Just about everyone in the league has been over to Europe to watch him play, including Larry Bird and Jerry West. Positives: He's an athletic, bouncy big man with great hands. Vazquez has excellent moves around the basket, a knack for crashing the offensive boards and a nice 15-foot jump shot. He is an excellent rebounder and a good shot blocker. His aggressivness and quickness leads to a lot of dunks. Negatives: Strength and experience are both issues. He's going to have to bulk up to play the 4 in the pros. He's deceptively strong, but still needs to get stronger. Right now he still relies on his physical gifts more than basketball skills, but scouts say he's improving. Summary: Long, athletic Spaniard is a rarity ? an international big man who actually plays and produces. He's ready to step in and help right away, if a team can convince him to leave Europe this summer." http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft/d05/tracker/player?playerId=18759 -
I am so tired of these type of negative threads and posts. Especially when people post them out of anger with little fact and then erase them and don't stand by them. Yes, imo, I think Otis has done a decent job as our GM. I like our record. I like our direction and future. But, yes, I believe we should try to make a logical trade before the deadline. Hopefully, something will happen. To settle you all down, I know for a FACT that Otis is trying to acquire Haslem right now. We'll see if anything happens. Right now Riley is asking for the moon.

Want to shore up the "4?" This article suggests that both players are available: http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=7323. I honestly believe acquiring either would give us a championship-caliber team. Will Riley deal with us? We have the pieces to make it happen ... expirings, picks, and a young talent (JJ). Go Magic!

Getting rid of Shaq for Marion was one of the biggest heists I've ever seen. To get rid of Marion, I'm sure Riley would want expirings, young stud(s), and picks.
-
I'll also add this nugget: Hoopsworld was way ahead of the curve in publishing the Shaq to Suns rumor. Trust me, I have loathed Hoopsworld in the past. Yet after that grand slam of reporting, I'm now reading their stuff. I know Otis has targeted Haslem but now that Shawn is available, too, things might change. We'll see. I'd be pleased with either.

UPDATE: Josh Powell salary-cap friendly quality backup C/PF (see first and last post)

Great read. If he looks that good in practice, he should be given a chance.

No way we take on Blount's contract. -
Fantasy time: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?playe...0~26~19~26&te=&cash= Orlando gets AK Utah Gets JJ and Dalembert Philly gets Los, Bogans, and Garrity (and perhaps a 1st) Why would Philly do it? To dump salary. Why would Utah? Shooting and a defensive big. Why Orlando? In honor of Rocky IV.
