We have the pieces and the Kings have little leverage b/c Artest has said he is going to opt out this summer. I have ni inside knowledge here, just common NBA wisdom. MagicAtic, welcome to the board! To the thread, I think we could probably get Pietrus for an expiring and a 2nd rounder. Given our overall success and where we are at in the season, I don't see him starting if we did obtain him. The question then becomes, would he bump Bogans as the back-up SG? Not sure. Go Magic!

I wouldn't do the Darko trade b/c he already feels slighted by Orlando. I also think he wants to be THE focal point of a team. It will be interesting to see if he not only stays consistent but wins. When I watch him (I've got the NBA package), he seems sluggish and sometimes disinterested. He is a good weakside defender but a poor on the ball defender. Keep in mind, too, that his numbers should be bloated b/c he is the only true big on Memphis. Anyway, I hope he does well. Unfortunately, he has a lot of hard match-ups out there in the West.
