Count me in as one who wants him and thinks he could bring us a championship. The Pacers have stunk since they traded him. He is one of the best two-way players in the game. Plus, with Otis acting as his personal shrink/life coach, he would be in a highly structured environment, which he needs. I don't see it happening, but it is a nice dream.

Junkie, I was told the Magic are going to be very active in FA. Towards what position? I don't know. Regarding Redick, I think everyone on here knows I personally would like him traded. However, my source alluded that he was going to be here next year. I'll check back with him to see if he has anything more specific.

With the 2nd round pick (the magic will probably trade cash and future considerations for one), I expect Otis to go after Weaver, a tall PG he has worked out. Jay Williams is an obvious veteran name for the Magic to get as another PG to mentor the new guy. Another wild card is Kurt Thomas. He could be had for the Vet Min, and would be high value at this point. He would be here to provide mass depth at big, and would be utilized a small amount and saved up for the playoffs, when the Magic know they need to go big more often. I hear ya. Not saying I agree with the info I posted, but all of it (on page 1) came from the top of the Magic organization.

Hayes had a very good season. IMO, Battie is better than this kid. If we trade Hedo it has to be for a borderline all-star. I know enough insider info to know that besides Dwight Hedo is Otis' favorite player on the team. It is gonna take a great deal for him to be traded.
