Anyone else find it interesting that the Suns are not maxing out Amare? Are they just dumb or brilliant?

(Which one could make the argument that Boozer's rebounding prowess is actually more valuable to the Magic then Amare's scoring, I certainly would, but were talking about best overall player right now.) (Stats from NBA.com) You have to consider that Amare has been playing with one of the best pgs in history and has had two major surgeries. Given Bosh's average supporting cast, I think his numbers are quite strong. Either way, they all post very similar digits.

As I've said before, I believe Bosh is far better than Boozer. I'm not high on the Boozer or Amare ideas. If we can't get Bosh, I'd rather try to upgrade the wing position, sign Haslem, sign or draft a back-up pg, and trade Tat or Bass.

Rev, is Magical Greenlandic and have a long beard?

Great posts. I'd love Butler and Haslem but I don't see it happening. Jareth, where is Green rumored to go?

What are some logical landing spots for Gortat if the Magic trade him? For whom or what? Houston? Dallas? Washington? Toronto? OKC? As to Sac, why would they want/need him? Am I causing a thread jam by not putting this in the official trade thread? Either way ... ready, set, go.

Is this your Greenlandic friend?

LOL. The problem is this wouldn't surprise me at all. Boozer and Dwight are very close.

Dwight hanging in Houston with Bosh & Boozer...

quote: Need instant impact? Draft a UK Wildcat by David Thorpe 6. Dominique Jones The draft seems to always produce guys outside of the top 20 candidates who end up as top-tier rookies. Anthony Morrow, Marcus Thornton, Wesley Matthews, Chase Budinger and many more are among them. Jones is my top guy for this category, as he has the requisite scoring talent and crazy confidence to pound his way into a team's rotation. I'm a little worried about his shooting from 3, but I think he'll get more open looks than he got at USF and he'll still be a very effective driver. The lane opens up in the NBA far more than it does in college, and he'll use his excellent length to hurt people in the paint. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba...nba_draft&id=5267882

Keep in mind, the Magic want to win NOW. Yes, I'm sure they'd want to develop talent, but they want to win it all before the old man passes away.

Iggy is a nasty defender and driver. One of the best wings in the league in both categories. Did you guys read that he converts 68% of his buckets around the rim for 3rd overall, which includes bigs? He also averages about 6 assists a game. Seems like he would be great on a team that loves to shoot 3s. He often could play point and drive and kick, etc. EDIT: Forgive me, Sinister, I just read your post. Agree. -

Just read on ESPN from Ford that Iguodala might be available. What about this trade: Iguodala and Meeks (for making the numbers work) for Carter and our 1st? Would Iguodala do well with us? http://games.espn.go.com/nba/t...hine?tradeId=23klptx -
Junkie's elderly parents moved in with him so now he is taking care of two families. Plus, he and many on this board haven't been seein' eye-to-eye as of late. However, I can assure you he is on the prowl for new info and has some great non-media sources. We'll see what he can find and whether he has the courage to post again .

SoulBro, what position do you see him playing at the next level? PG. He plays a lot like Stuckey. He led the Big East in scoring this year and I believe was the only player in D1 to average 21, 6 and 3. He is a very strong 6'5'' ... 215 pounds of muscle. If he develops a long ball, he could develop into a Billups-type. Good floor leader and wants the ball at crunch time. I really hope he doesn't end up in Miami. SB, are you aware your boy is refusing to workout for Orlando? I haven't asked him about Orlando, believe it or not. I will. He told me he's even had some interest inside the top 10. Who knows? I know he has 18 workouts.
