In order to win this game we have to play defense, which we don't. We have to crash the boards as a team, which we don't. My advice is for all the Magic players to go fly out to Shawn Kemps Booty Shack of love, and all get wasted with some of his girls and forget about the game. According to some of you the Magic can afford to lose a few games this month an still be fine. So I say don't show up at all and go get some pimp juice. I love the spirit. Anyways, hopefully shard will be back and we can get back to playing good ball, this will obviously be a big game, but yes we CAN lose games....as every team does...that would be part of the game. We can't go 82-0, although I understand the desire to be that good. Regardless, I think this will be a close game, I'm gonna say Magic by 4 103-99. Big game, but lets keep the spirit for our Magic, win or lose. -

Trade to change the Magic forever!!!!
The Ryan Anderbads replied to star_phenom35's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Wow I cant believe this is a serious thread. Ridnour?!? LOL! Well. That's all I can say about that. -
Interesting stats, regardless of the stats, I still like the trade, I think Mo is just having a couple off nights, he played great the first couple of games. He is always going to hussle, which he has shown every game, and can play D. And, im right with you on the trade him, bench him sillyness that I have seen, after a meesly week when we are still way better then we all expected. Not to mention, we still have a whole season ahead of us. Lets just support our team, shall we. Go MAGIC!

Long season and lots of games, too many panick buttons....
The Ryan Anderbads replied to Fern1960's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Finally, a thread that I can read. A couple losses doesnt mean you instantly start trading people left and right, not to mention we are a little banged up. There is still a long way in this season, and ruining team chemistry by trading off everybody who has a bad game, is not the result, and for alot of people on this board they think that is the way we should do things. Stay positive, and yes we are still among the top in the league. Our job as fans is not to concern ourselves with things that the GM should be handling and our squad. Leave the worrying to them, and enjoy basketball. This team has good chemistry, no need to ruin it. -
Lets get to it, I thought jameer played a true point guard type of game last night. He only took 6 shots, and made all of them, and I thought really distributed well, and didnt turn the ball over but 2 times, with 6 assists. But I dont think the stats told the tale of how well he played. I liked jameer's game tonight, and yes he has had some off nights, but hes played well for the majority. Now, Dooling also played well, he obviously has become a huge spark off the bench and is creating shots for himself with ease. He very simply comes out and wants to do one thing: score the basketball, and he has been doing so very well the last couple of games(mind the pacers game of course). In my opinion they are two different players, but some people would argue that dooling might be better then meer as of right now, and maybe is deserving of more time or a start, maybe in the 2 position over bogans or the 1 for meer? Thoughts? Oh, and if you want to mention Arroyo, feel free.

lewis one dimensional. turk is much better.

quote: Originally posted by fishybashi:Look, I am not afraid to say it. We waste so many attempts with Rashard's missed 3's or travel calls when he tries to drive. I'd trade lewis for another turk like player. Looks like we have another Grant Hill in our hands, i.e. wasted money. What a shame. Another judgement call based on the performance of one game, if you want to get into ONE game, the game against milwaukee, shard was the ONLY guy hitting any shots, and HEDO was the one who led to the downfall of every run we had going. Lets stay positive while we win games please. Not talk about trade possibilites immediately after a win. Goodness. -

Why was it necessary to extend Jameer for $35-38m when he was RESTRICTED?
The Ryan Anderbads replied to ReeceGaines's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
If you think pick and rolls is a sign of weakness for a point guard, you have no idea what your talking about. Pick and rolls are run throughout every offense in the NBA, but great point. And saying that meer has no ball handling skills really tickles me. You pick at little games that he was either hurt, or was emotionally unstable in, every other game this season he has been SOLID. -

We win by 46 to outbeat the Celtic 45 point victory against the Knicks. J/k. We win 112-108. MVP! Lets sell it out. I'll be giving every bit of emotion for the great work they've done so far. -
To play hard, or not to play hard, that is the question!
The Ryan Anderbads replied to Jareth Cutestory's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I will look at the SA spurs for why I say this, we should secure the division, and minimize our starters minutes to about 25-35 mins a game. SA not only has been doing this the last couple of years, but it works, as they are winning championships, they are very deep though, so its tough to try and follow that team. -
Is Dwight complaining too much?
The Ryan Anderbads replied to b2theizzo's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I've seen Dwight handle some no calls very well, and he was hacked brutally in some of those. He usually starts getting upset when he is getting hacked every play, and that probably frustrates him, so he thinks the refs should be on his side because he IS being hacked every time he touches the ball, but then he walks down the court and gets called for putting his pinky finger on his opponent. I personally would go balls out on a ref. He has handled himself well. He doesnt complain very much at all. -
ESPN NBA Coast to Coast Power Rankings Discussion
The Ryan Anderbads replied to D-Guy's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I watched the whole session of coast to coast, and was disgusted with every "expert analysis" opinons from Rick, and Tim, Anthony did give some props to the Magic, but Tim, and Rick gave about no real credit to the Magic other than saying they are in there top 5 list. This team will not fade because we are beating all the teams we are supposed to beat. Our next level, is to start beating every team. (PHX, DET, SA). The elites. -
