  1. They both are a different type of player and both play different positions. In size, LeBron could suit up TE for your pro football team. He can get to the rim with force, gets to the line, and can hit the three. Kobe's smaller than Lebron, takes more jumpers and Howard or the nearest defender could alter those shots. He's still going to get his numbers though by getting to the line and being as efficient as he can be. I'm just saying we have a better chance of JJ guarding Kobe than Q covering Lebron.

  2. We have to hope Bron doesn't drop 100 on Quentin, but JJ on Kobe is "okay"?

Come on, now. We're gonna get lit up by all of them. We can only hope that making them work on the defensive end burns their energy some.

  3. I always get attached to my Magicians, but I've slept on it, moved on, and can't wait to see how this new team works out.

One thing that's really frustrated me this season is the inability of guards to pass it into the post when Dwight is open/before he gets 3 seconds. Jameer is just too short, not his fault, but hopefully taller perimeter guys like Arenas and Turk will get Dwight the ball at the right moment.

PS, nobody has ever been better than Hedo at 'ooping Dwight (ask Tim Duncan).

Yeah, but Hedo's entry passing to the post was terrible.

  4. Might get bashed for this, but I think JJ could do okay vs Kobe on the perimeter. Like he mostly does if his opponent drives, he funnels him to Dwight where he eats up shot attempts.

Put Q on LeBron and hope to the gods that he doesn't drop 100. Either get a perimeter defensive stopper *cough* Dooling or go to the zone.

  5. I really want Troy Murphy............He's sitting behind Humphries and Favours (which must be quite insulting)..........He is a fantastic rebounder and can shoot.......

I can't imagine we'd have much of a problem getting him with one of JJ, Q Rich and Duhon being surplus to requirements now.

    Especially Duhon

I'd rather have Humphries. But for all we know, Otis is getting Amare http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=24eb8r5

  6. Lol, you know that's an old highlight when J Kidd is still on the Nets.

Signing a free agent is the best case from a financial standpoint, but from a talent standpoint, we're best off making another trade

hahaha yeah, but he's still young and fresh. The Nets waived him last year I think.

I wonder if there will be another trade. I mean, we would have new players at every position. Could our team click in order to excel come playoff time?

  7. What if...we made another trade, for a guy like Iguodala. We'd be trading away our whole team basically, but we'd be beastly. We'd have a bunch of "name" guys, but just look at this:

Of course we'd have to pick up some guys off the wire. Maybe Rafer for a 3rd PG and another big.

    Our lineup would be:

    Nelson/Arenas/J Will

    Iguodala/Arenas

    J Rich/Hedo

    Bass/Orton/Hedo

    Howard/Speights

Unlikely, but the point is that this team has potential for some assets to come here over the long haul.
