****...You don’t know me man.
Born and raised in Orlando right there at Florida Hospital in Winter Park. Been a fan since the beginning. Played b-ball and studied for almost my entire youth. Wore the jerseys, wore the shirts, even dreamed of playing for them one day. Was going to go the CBA route and try that one after one year in college.
Let me tell you, I stopped watching the NBA on TV as an whole years ago after LeBron to MIA, after the refs started messing with the game, etc. Few years ago, after the whole Skiles hiring and fiasco, I stopped watching Magic basketball. First time since 89 man. I still watch clips. I got a good eye for talent and I like to talk about it since it’s been a huge outlet in my life growing up. However I haven’t bought anything Magic related or watched them in a while.
I have the type of personality that after so many tries, I do walk away. I find something else as hard it is. Playing B-ball has been replaced the last 20 years with gym and occasional surf and other stuff.
I have no qualms about walking away from stagnation.
Does that mean for good? For me usually, but a new FO could come in and become proactive. I don’t know if that happens with the ownership though. My faith in them has dwindled to near nothing.

I’m telling you, if they don’t do anything, I’m done.

I hope the front office didn't sign a player to an untradable contract and they have 100% of the picture so they would know better. That's what I'm hoping.
I believe that’s exactly what they did and will likely do the same with Fournier.

There was no line for Fultz. Don’t think anyone really wanted him. We gave up a guy who’s not even the NBA at the moment.
And look, I like Fultz but he’s not shown he’s a star player. He’s got a lot of work to do.

Fultz.. Wiggins..Isaac.. AG... Vooch ( for now )
DSJ ( if we got him ) .. Ross.. Okeke.. ?? Bamba
Sure. Don’t think WeHam has the cajones to attempt that.

Think we have a pretty good idea of it after how many years

Just now, Fultz4thewin said:The problem this year is missing Isaac. He was very important to everything we do. He rim protects for Vucevic. He makes us a weird team to play against. He makes opponents have to make tough decisions with lineups. He gives us positional size and the ability to go small.
Missing him and we're not much different than the teams over the past several years.
That and we’ve done nothing to improve our offense.

Problem is no one wants the other two.

Our team as constructed would have been very interesting to watch... but in the 1990/2005 period.
Nah. Even then you had to have shooters/offense.
Its poorly constructed. If they get nothing done by deadline, FO needs to go.

Just now, Fultz4thewin said:You missed a pretty good one. Score was pretty much single digits the entire game until they pulled away in the last 5 minutes.
Why Fultz with only 4 points?

34 minutes ago, All Eyes On Me said:No offense to anyone involved here, but Brian Hill doesn’t know anything about successful basketball in this era of the game. He’s a mouthpiece for an organization who seem to be contempt on riding Vooch to disappointing seasons every year until he retires
They’re all mouthpieces.
BHill, Nick, Turner, Steele, Denton, etc. All of them. Afraid to speak the truth. We suck. We need changes.

There's a ton of interesting guys where we're going to pick. Guys that we'll like and could develop into really useful players. One will definitely turn into a star because one always does. But there's not one guy that I'm really hyped about. There's a ton of deanthony Melton types, Terrence Ferguson types, iwundu types, Bryn Forbes types.
If we can get a definite top 7 in the rotation player in a trade this week with our pick I'd do it no question.
Yup. It would be a lot better for Fultz/JI’s development than to get another Iwundu.

This guy again...It’s not a “weird” draft. It sucks.
Forget the pick. Get some NBA talent on this team.
With all this over analyzing and crap.

Deadline is tomorrow but I’m not expecting one. Expecting maybe a small one for some backup PG maybe and then resign Fournier in off season. Treadmill doing what treadmill does.

I think the off-season is still where we’ll make a bigger potential trade.
Wishful thinking
I think the off season will be potential for a bigger letdown.

Any progress WeHam?

6 hours ago, Jay Magic said:Was Shaq really implying that AG was high?? Surely that's a red flag? I don't know what to make of it. Maybe he don't smoke it but he does the edibles etc? Gotta say he does look high lolI'd rather not have players that take any drugs at myself. Maybe it's not a topic to discuss. Surely he wouldn't come on national TV stoned out of his nut lolLol Dude was shaggielistic.

Other part is like naaah.

3 hours ago, Fultz4thewin said:I think we're going to trade our injury exception and a second rounder for something helpful short term and I'm going to spend the next 4 months saying "no don't worry we're probably just going to sign and trade Evan this summer when there's more available" while internally being terrified that we're resigning him.
Be afraid. Very afraid.

Our name isn’t attached to anything. I know that’s not unusual but something feels wrong.

Just don’t know what we’d do at the 4 spot. I like the Phoenix deal a little better.

Nobody said you can't win with a big. Everyone is saying you can't win with one as your best player.
Last time a center won finals MVP was 2005.
I mean they have LeBron but AD is dominating.
I don’t know if I buy that. Think if you have an elite big and a elite perimeter player, you have strong chance to win a ship.

1. Not true. Almost everyone is available.
2. We’ll see.
A GM has an off season and the deadline to move further. Last off season, they drafted a kid who doesn’t play, and resigned a guy who should’ve been let go. They do nothing this deadline, it’s basically getting paid to not work and produce. It’s been 2.5 years and we’re in the same spot as last year. That’s not acceptable.
