I think if one knows enough basketball, they know the odds were slim with this game. I think having so many guys now with high bball IQs is really gonna pay off. I don't know about Meer/Arenas off the bench. Duhon and Jwill aren't 2nd stringers I think you have no choice there. Unless you can get a big AND a backup point, you gotta keep Meer.

People forget that both MP and Lewis has shown a lack of disrespect to Stan during games. Lewis basically saying heck no to stan when he told him to go back into the game and Pietrus literally saying F YOU to him after mentioning his poor defense. Of course it was squashed but that never leaves ones mind and to add the total lack of will to compete, there were signs of distrust and issues that were growing.

At first I think Arenas is off the bench. More nights like tonight for Meer and I think it switches. Arenas is way better than Meer and it'll show quickly. After time: Arenas/Meer Jrich/JJ Hedo/Qrich Bass/Anderson/Allen Dwight/only problem I see I agree we might not be done. I wouldn't be surprise if Meer is involved.

Anyone consider Meer being our version of Nate Robinson? Just a suggestion. I like the deals personally. All players are competitors. We were lacking that big time.

SJackson would've been nice a few years ago. Not anymore. Melo to me is the perfect player for us. Its like when Boston got KG and LA got Gasol. Imo, we are in that situation right now with a player who fits our need perfectly.

You can't say that his assists numbers couldn't go up. Steals might not be the ONLY OVERALL measure of good defense but me and you both know that getting steals is a form of defense.

Starting Pietrus would have little affect. Over the last few years he's become a 3 point chucker and that's all. All these lineup changes...We've been there... gotta stop putting the square peg into the round hole...
