We just don't got it. Its time to go back to the drawing board.
-
Is there another deal to get a big because we would be even more thin up front. I think Magic fans overrate Bass but losing him without gaining a big would not be good.
-
Doesn't take much. Just stay at home and let Dwight go one on one.
-
Our shots outside of Dwight are all long range shots. And Bass isn't that strong of a rebounder.
-
Very true. Its becoming to predictable and easy to defend. Add to the fact we don't defend, its gonna be hard to beat the upper tiers.
-
I don't see it as tough or not. I see a team that still struggles to defend and a team to get easy baskets when shots aren't falling.
-
Toughness? Really? That's what you saw?

Dude you just described every basketball board. Not just realgm. I'll say it...I'd still watch. I don't think we'll win it this year and I still watch. I will say that firing SVG is not the answer. -

No its easy because its plain as day. Its easy because pg's have a rap sheet of lighting us up. Its easy because that's who we are. Name me one player outside of Dwight you would put in the same sentence with defense individually? -

I don't see things getting better until we start D'ing up. The 32 threes I care very little about. Its the damn matador style defense that shows up on a consistent basis. -

Please read that to yourself again and rethink what your saying. -

That's the way its going to be. No one on this team cares to slash even if Stan told em to. What's also hurting us is once again defense. Its an guarantee that an average to above average pg will light us up. -

Probably the usual Turkoflu. He's past due. -
Just fruit and chicken? No veggies? What are you trying to accomplish?
-
What are you trying to accomplish? That's the important question. Just eating berries and fruit and nothing else is not healthy. You need a "balanced" diet. You also want to eat organic produce. The nutritional value is much higher. Getting protein just from shakes isn't wise. Your missing out on other nutrients that natural sources of protein contain and more then likely your protein powder supplement is putting unecessary and harmful things into your body. There are very few that are really healthy. VERY few. Nutrition is 80% but you need exercise. Exercise is the true fountain of youth if done properly.
-
I'm a personal trainer who's been involved with fitness and nutrition for 15 years. There's a ton of diet "fads" over the years. Tread carefully. Does the diet give you enough protein? What about calcium? If your just eating fruits and berries you are going down a road that you don't want to go. Be very careful of diets that athletes and movie stars do. Their goals will never be your goals because of what they do. Six lbs is great but really fast for in that small amount of time.
-
Yeah its the defense. When shots aren't falling guys become more focused on hitting the shot then stepping up the defensive intensity. Its always been that way even before the trade. Against contenders you might go through a dry spell in the game. Its your defense that keeps the other team from heating up. The problem is you gotta love to play defense and everyone outside of Dwight and JJ don't seem to have that passion.

Orlando Magic VS Chicago Bulls 8:00 EST January 28th 2011

Seriously...I mean your in there for your defense...Get to the basket at least. Arenas is still better than Duhon. If Meer misses time (doubt it) and we didn't have Arenas Duhon would be our starting pg. He does look like a Oldrenas on that bum knee. -

I don't think Arenas has it anymore. He lacks total explosiveness that made him so good. -

When the going get tough, shoot more jumpers. Defense was nonexistent in the 2nd half. Turnovers in the clutch. Same problems...Different day. -

Nothing ticks me off more than a team that continues on with their bad habits that will cost them a championship. TO's...Bad defense...What the heck are they doing in practice? -
Stein: Magic interested in T. Murphy if bought out by G.S.
Magicman28 replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
No one stands out in my mind right now but theres gotta be someone. If Murphy is bought out I signed him anyway. I just don't think it'll get it done come playoff time with Murph, Allen, Bass (who knows about that knee btw), and Anderson.
