I really tried to find something I disagree with but I can't.

Trust me on this. IQ does play a role on the defense side of the ball. Some say its all effort. It is majority but not entirely. The rest is IQ. That's why Boston at their age is good. That's why the Spurs are good this year. Just good ol fashion smart ballers.

Your description of Boston is wrong. Pierce in his prime was very crafty and diverse at getting to the basket. Still is even though he's lost a few steps athletically. He wasn't Bruce Bown on D but his IQ mixed with the will to win made him decent. Same goes for Allen. Allen is already athletic with an high IQ but with the will to win makes hin an decent defender. The difference is not so much the will to win isn't there. Its the IQ and the skill that Boston has and Orlando lacks. Am I'm gonna write them off? No. You can't in the NBA. There's injuries. Trades. As of right now though I believe all the chemistry in the world won't result into this team winning a ring this year or next as its currently constructed.

Key word there: last. If he's bought out and we sign him for cheap. I mean dirt cheap.

JJ with feet set ready to catch or shoot wiiiide open or Ryan with a fading 3? Not saying it was a guarantee just like the chances. For me though that last few minutes did nothing. I wanna see that during the entire game against good teams.

And lost? I think so but we had better defense. We also surprised a lot of teams and the east was weaker. Things are different now. We became less defensive and more predictable on offense to slow down.

We still gotta a year and some pieces but we are not a finished product by any means. Otis still has work to do.

Have you ever played organized ball? Of course your gonna miss. Ryans been shooting the ball great lately. He's due for a cold spell. JJ's been out. He's gonna get it going soon. The problem is when these cold spells happen we have nothing to get us out of a hole. Our defense isn't good and after Dwight we have no rebounders so we don't get fastbreak points. BTW Miami's defense IS good.

Its very excusable. Shooters will miss. The problem goes back to personnel. We're missing pieces that gives us more diversity on offense and we lack defense and rebounding.

I agree with everything but the last sentence. Who do you expect to drive more? We lack that player. Everyone is a shooter. That's it. Arenas isn't there. Who knows if he'll be that again. We lack the personnel to be different.
