Wheres you evidence of ZBo and defense in the post? Dude takes more vacations than Obama in the post. I rather have an young, athletic, Bass whos striving to play defense then a vet who treats it as a disease his entire career. I would be down to have Mayo on this team but hes not someone you break the bank for. Your riding on that "p" word and thats not a sure thing keeping Dwight in town. Championships is the ultimate thing to keeping him. Not young prospects. Proven commodities. Thats where Otis should be looking.

Because Bass at his age has room to improve on the defensive end. Zbo even his contract year wants nothing to do with it. Have you seen ZBo play btw? His defense is a MAJOR dropoff from Bass's. Also not jumpshot happy? Do we really need that mood here? We need to focus on DEFENSE and guys who are willing to play it. Thats what wins you championships.

Thank God some of you aren't the GM of this team. ZBo would just add to the misery of our defense. Only player I'd be interested in is Mayo or Rudy and they're not trading Rudy. Thabeet hasn't shown anything to be a big man for a playoff contending team. Isn't that what we're still trying to do? Contend?

Good defense especially in the 2nd half holding them to 34 points. LA did miss some shots but the energy defensively was the best I've seen in a while. Offensively we were really patient. Getting the ball to Dwight was priority 1 like it should be and didn't see any ill advised 3 pointers. Everyone had an assist too. That's good basketball.

I agree with everything. I do not know who your referring to with this post but I think the blame should be put on everyones shoulders. Stan the least.

I don't care if Howard has gone 0-12 through 3 quarters. He's our best option for an high percentage shot. I agree the personnel needs changes. I think its a shame that we have a pg who rather chuck up long shots then create for his star big man.

What do you think are the chances of him now being traded? In Utah he and Kevin O'Conner will be known as the one who led to Sloans resignation. There has to be some backlash for that.

I didn't buy the whole forcing out thing. Sloan has been there for 23 years. I don't think anyone can "force" Sloan out. I just think Sloan had enough. As to Deron...Whats the Jazz gonna do? Hes a FA in 2 years. They have no real pieces to trade unless they trade a significant one. No FA wants to go there outside of Jefferson who was in Minny which was a crap hole of the NBA. Now they lost the only real thing that kept them stable and significant in Sloan. You gotta wonder if its time for that "rebuilding" thing to begin and I'm pretty sure Deron wants no part of that.

I've lived over 15 years in a gym and about to embark on a career as a personal trainer. Your absolutely right on. Gaining 10lbs of muscle can be done without juice. One does not have to eat or train like a bodybuilder to do it either. It can be all functional muscle which I train myself as for the last 3 years since firefighting training. Bodybuilding I know a lot about. It was the beginning for me as a teenager but as I progressed I pushed away from it. The whole gorging yourself for looks with no function turned me to another direction. I don't hate bodybuilding its just not for me. Its counterproductive to my hobbies and beliefs. Plus the workout bores the crap out of me.

I don't. I really don't pay attention to anyone in the media thinks. Only person it comes down to is Dwight. I agree thats its stupid to worry about it now. Otis knows his job is never to be stagnant and I believe he'll do whatever he can to keep this team competitive. I want Dwight here as bad as any other Magic fan but if he does decide to leave for whatever reason, life does not end.

Jim Rome said for sure Dwight is coming and that we are nothing a but a farm team of big men for the Lakers to take. It was pretty sickening. I agree what Kyler says though. Dwight going to LA would be nothing but a copycat of Shaq and I'm pretty sure, putting myself in his shoes, thats the last thing he would want.

That does sound interesting. ZBo has never been a defensive player but his rebounding would help Dwight out. Mayo can get to the hole. He's no Kobe or Wade but he's young talent. Doubt it happens since Memphis is playing well.

Exactly. Calling out Dwight is retarded. Sure his mental lapses are frustrating but this is nothing new. Everyone on this team wants to shoot 3's. Fast break?
