Well everyone credits drafting Howard and Nelson to Weisbrod when in fact, it was him and his Dave Twardzik (spelling?) that convinced Weisbrod to do it. I remember the interview where Weisbrod admitted it himself because many people we're like "WTF? Yall should've taken Okafor!" Even though Rashard Lewis's contract was hell, it did propel us to the Finals. However, since then, hes made moves that show no real plan. Hes winging it. Its players who he knows from the GS days or players hes alread had in Hedo. In the end, those deals that looked so good at the time, might just cost us in the long run.

I firmly believe Otis's trades were a knee jerk reaction. How does one as a gm go from taking a team that went to the finals, to totally dismantling the lineup, to trading for one player who helped took that team to the finals in Hedo, 2 years later by using one of the best backup bigs in Gortat who also is young, and a 1st rounder? He should've demanded Nash. The deal should've been VC, Gortat, Nelson whatever for Nash, Clark and whoever.

Charlotte or any other team in the East for the matter is going to deal with us. Look at whats going on. The East is getting better. Any team we deal with will be a team from the West.

No but who knows what will happen. Imo, theres going to be a lockout. This whole star shifting thing has got to tick owners off as well as fans. Players want control. Its not looking pretty for next season.

They're gonna have to do more then just rely on buyouts. Otis is gonna have to do something fast if he wants a big. Murph to Orlando wasn't that great and now its likely if he is bought out, he'll go somewhere else first.

Its still early to think about Dwight leaving. If the new CBA has a franchise tag on it, you better believe Otis will use it.
