I agree. And it’s a shame. Because I think he has enough game to create opportunities for his teammates and actually make everyone better if only he wasn’t so focused on shooting every time he touches the ball.

They hit a lot of shots in general, not just 3’s. As Clifford said post game, most of those shots were open and in rhythm. That’s due to subpar defense. The whole team was slow on defense in this game. This wasn’t fun to watch from my standpoint, not the kind of energy on defense we’d been seeing lately, and not what I’d expect from a young team. I hope we’re better than this going forward because we can’t continue to give up 130 to mediocre teams.

I totally agree. Didn’t watch the presser but it was clear we got fatigued in the second half and it was understandable given the circumstances. Can’t imagine why Cliff would be upset after what I thought was a very good effort.

It’s like Jekyll and Hyde compared to last night, when they looked listless and couldn’t do anything right. I certainly wasn’t expecting this.

I don’t think they’re resting healthy guys and calling them sick but I could be wrong. Although maybe some of these guys are a bit sick but could play if the games were more meaningful.

Not really flu season any more. And they’re not giving us any details about these “non-covid illnesses”. Definitely wasn’t expecting this start after the way they played last night, especially at altitude. Whether they can keep it up for 48 is another matter.

Four out of five in the starting lineup were same as usual. Only Birch was out. So I don’t see it as “totally new”. They did have to play more minutes. But starting players years ago used to play a lot more minutes than these guys do now, and they sometimes had games three days in a row. I think our young guys should be able to handle this. To be honest, I’m more worried about the altitude. That is an unfair advantage, in my opinion.

I'm not sure all these injuries are legit I'm not sure all these "injuries" are legit. But regardless, while I agree they played a lot of minutes, I think they were mostly just going through the motions, especially after about mid way through the second quarter. I turned it off at half time. I'm not saying they should have won, but it would have been nice to try to build on the prior two games rather than have a complete blow-out like yesterday.

We should always expect them to at least be competitive. They are still NBA players. They are making us a laughingstock tonight.
