Happened again tonight.

Totally. It looks like a team thing, we stop moving the ball and players stop moving, it’s like everyone is waiting for someone else to do something. This is especially a problem at the end of games or other pressure situations.

That’s reasonable. I don’t have a specific take myself, was just reporting the betting line for discussion.

Chicago again favored by 2 against us in this second game of two in a row in Chicago.

Watching the end of the game last night reminded me how awful Vuch is on defense. On the last play, with our arguably best player closing on the rim one on one against a much smaller Chicago player, Vuch was standing right next to him and I was certain he would go for the double team to make it harder for Paulo. Instead he turned the other direction and the rest is history. His instincts on defense are abominable.

4-7 Bulls favored against us by about two points, playing at home. We’re also on the second night of a back to back, and unfortunately we’ve been awful on second nights the past few years (1-12 last year)

The 5-5 Nets, playing at home, are favored by 3.5 over us in the betting lines.

There was no mention of a specific injury. More like the routine impact of playing a few games was enough to inflame his knee. Definitely concerning. Would almost be better had there been a specific injury.

I’m hard pressed to give full credence to a game (Atlanta, Mexico City) played at 7200 feet above sea level. More like a survival contest than a basketball game. I’m giving the Magic a pass on that one.

Very worrisome. He’s back for one game and it flares up again. They may have to shut him down for awhile.

It was terrible. I’m actually quite ashamed of myself.

Sounds a bit sheepish

You could say something similar about any other NBA team also, though. Yes, if our players learn and get better and string together some wins we’ll be looking pretty good.

The injuries only seemed to affect us in the second half?

Real Jekyll and Hyde performance last night between the two halves. Doubly disappointing that we wilted so badly in the second half when the Mavs were the road team on the second night of a back to back and we were at home and rested. As for Ingles, reason he isn’t shooting more is that he’s mostly not open. Our spacing (or lack thereof) is a problem for him. Completely agree that he brings a lot else to the table, though.

Since the best teams are most likely to win, why would you want to give them extra chances in the draft lottery? Or am I missing something?

And I just remembered that the elevation in Mexico City is ridiculous. Over 7200 feet, 2000 feet higher than Denver :(

Carter will be out for awhile. Harris has been injury prone his whole career, and questions about his desire to be on the court are one of the reasons he was traded to us. Fultz is more worrisome, if his knee is swelling after only a few games and there was no apparent injury.

And when we wind up in Mexico City this coming Thursday, I suspect we’ll have traveled more miles at this point in the season than any other team. Nutty schedule.

Concern with Fultz would be the knee is swelling from routine in game use as it doesn’t appear there was any specific injury. That would suggest a potentially more chronic issue.

Great win against a team that was favored against us by a few points. First win against a team not expected to be a bottom feeder which is a big positive for us. Starting to look legit.

We were bad last year partly due to injuries. Actually our personnel are not much different from last year.

What was our record in those games? Looked it up on statmuse. Apparently Wendell was out 25 games last season. Our record in those games was 8-17
