AH..... August is nearly here, this is that month of the year where nothing happens... it drags on and on and on and we wish training camp was here. Constantly refreshing this forum and hoopshype waiting for some news, some discussion, that never takes place.

It will be difficult for teams to leave a player and double against some of our potential lineups

I reckon it will be something along these lines (well at least during the first half of the season): Payton: 28-32 Oladipo: 30-36 Harris: 30-36 Gordon: 24-28 Vucevic: 30-36 Fournier 18-24 Hezonja 18-24 Watson 15-20 Frye 15-22 Smith 12-16 Dedmon - Situational

If it is anything like last season there seemed to be an injury to at least one of our wings most games during the season. That is the only way I can see there being enough minutes to go around without at least 1 (maybe 2) players not getting the minutes they want.

I think neither of them get selected and we keep our 15th spot free for any moves during the season or if we get a long term injury. As for CJ starting, no chance. He will be great for Payton and we now have one of the better back up PG in the league. It would not surprise me to see him play more minutes than Payton on Payton's off nights.

Not the best track record.

Henny. We all got to be impressed with how well this offseason has gone without us signing a big name. I love majority of our roster and making. There is becoming a long list of accomplishments Henny has done (including Jacque Vaughn, we needed to lose games to gain high placed picks.... clearly the best guy for the job). Time to start seeing everything paying off on the court. He had a plan and he is sticking to it, no moves that were not thought of thoroughly before being made (No Otis).

I agree. If you say those 4-6 could have been won especially with a better coach. I am feeling a minimum 10 more wins this year. But for me I think our real improvement will be the season after.

He does not look like a player that will make it in the NBA from my opinion. I reckon his ceiling would be 12-15 man on a team(s) for up to 5 years until his age removes any potential upside. He is just too much of a one trick pony and his deficiencies are too damaging.

Well that was a waste of time, those rankings are laughable.

If he gets fouled and makes the shot it counts as an attempt (obviously), but if he misses it I believe it is not counted as an attempt. I believe that if your shot is blocked, it still counts as an attempt.

I had a feeling something like that would come out. Very impressed that Harris camp chose to keep the fact that Detroit, Boston, New Orleans and more impressively Sacramento all offered max contracts. Usually player agents leak that information to increase leverage quite quickly. I think it shows that Tobias truly did want to still be here and we can take all reports of otherwise like a grain of salt. I am excited we have him back and we have him back with the energy that he actually chose us over any of those other three teams (New Orleans could have been an exciting opportunity for him to take). Credit for Henny for keeping the leverage in the situation and signing him for less than those three teams had on the table and Sacramento with the offer sheet, also with allowing us to have the power to trade him early if needed. Credit for Harris by proving it is not all about money and that he truly wants to be here. I think there was quite a bit of maturity in how this all played out, we all know that an agents number one priority is to get the most money possible for their client (and themselves). Showed a lot for him to not get involved in the game and to sign for less and not force Orlando to match an offer sheet.

I find it funny too considering how many of us were banking on him over the years to chuck a magic jersey on. I think Watson is a good sign and back up PG
