I love the Win! I still stand by what i said in the trade thread. If we could switch Bamba and Fournier for Dinwiddie and Allen I would do it in a heartbeat. I bet they would love to put a 5 who can shoot the 3 next to Durant next year. It will take years for me to like Bamba.

I know this is magic chat but wouldn't Drummond be better on the Celts? If they just switch Hayward and Drummond i bet both teams would be better. Not sure he would be good for us.

I really wanted him last year. With Ross, Gordon,Dj and even Isaac hot from the 3 last spring i think he would have fit in nicely. Imagine the Toronto series if we had Demar. Now i'm not so sure. Anyway I think the Spurs and Blazers could really help each other. Ship Demar and Aldridge to Portland and send back Whiteside and Bazemore with Simons and little. Anyhow i'm not sure about the Magic trading with the Spurs unless something else is involved.

Question, even though i watched most of the games, how did we score after the all star break last year? We played at a faster pace and got really hot from the 3. Am i missing something? It's just so frustrating no momentum carried over from last year.

Derozan and either Bryn Forbes or White work in a trade for Evan and DJ. I guess the rumor is The Heat getting DeRozan.

Hate to be the Debbie Downer, but we really missed out on some premier talent the last few drafts. That's why the trade thread is so popular, sometimes you have to make your own luck. I want to Magic to be bold as well. Some of the players we mentioned are good. They don't have to be superstars at first. First you get better players then you stay flexible. This is what the Heat,Nets, Pacers and even Washington are doing. Do they win a championship the next few years? Who knows! However they keep getting talent and maybe an opportunity arises.

Yes and we would be the Euro team instead of Dallas.Lets face it, during our whole rebuild our most consistent best players have been Vucevic and Evan. They would have benefited the most from Luka because they both play better when they don't always have to make plays.

I predict the Cavs and Blazers make the first trade of the season. It just makes too much sense for Kevin Love to be in Portland. If the Cavs can get Simons or Nassir maybe both they have to do it. I love Dj but wish we could get Clarkson to back up Fultz.

The whole thing about this thread is trades. I think i started the Nets trade talk because i thought they might make a panic move. If you want to talk about a star who might be attainable, How about Blake Griffin? If the Pistons are in last place next month think they might blow it up?

Meanwhile i suggested a trade of Gordon for Dinwiddie and Allen, exactly what this team needs.People said it would be a bad deal yet those two players are probably the biggest reason the Nets are back to .500. Bottom line, lets see how the team plays up until the deadline. I am excited to see winning basketball again, but i wouldn't be upset about anyone being traded, except JI.

Trade is based on 3 things. I like Allen more then Bamba.I loved what i have seen from Dinwiddie, think we would be buying low because he just doesn't work on a team with Kyrie.I also like Harris, his career 3 point % is incredible. If Ross regains his shot our second unit might actually score on other teams. I think Dinwiddie could be our Lou Williams. With competent center play from Allen and Aminu, Ross and Harris camped out at the 3 point line.Fultz or Dinwiddie penetrating. Also i expect Okeke to take over Gordon's roll next year and honestly he is our best trade chip.The pieces we acquire could be signed cheaper, which we will need once we have to pay Fultz and Isaac. Also guys, Gordon's defense is not as good as advertised. Sure he is a forward that has the speed to switch to guards. However his instincts are overrated. I see him make as many mistakes on defense as good plays. Isaac has blown past him and even Evan sometimes looks better this year. Throw in Aminu,Iwundu and Okeke next year and he is expendable.

My whole post was lost lol! Anyhow the trade with Brooklyn above is mainly to get Allen who can hold down the center position until Vooch comes back. After that i simply think we need to play a different style moving forward. I'm tired of losing games because of the scoring droughts, so we get Dinwiddie and Harris. Hopefully the rest of the team overcompensates for whatever defense we lost with Gordon and MCW. Before you ask the reason the Nets do the trade is Gordon and the possibility that Bamba plays well with Durant when he comes back. Allen will never shoot the 3 but Bamba's future is a stretch 5. Also they need MCW, he plays defense and will be a good change up with Kyrie.

Pat Williams wants to trade Gordon for a baseball team. Anyhow the reason to keep bringing up trades is we seem to be missing one piece for this team. Things are starting to gel. For the first time in awhile i can see the future of the Magic, it's Fultz and Isaac. If sometime in the next year we can swing a deal for a scorer it would be nice.One thing shaping up like i said is Evan having a career year.If he does he will surely opt out.You want to sign him for 20 million a year or get his replacement before the all-star break? And if we do make a trade what are our best assets? Gordon and possibly Bamba. If we don't trade Gordon then Evan,Bamba and Aminu after december 15th. Personally i want to keep Gordon and think the later could get us a good trade. Edit. The more i keep looking at it the more i think we can make a good deal with Brooklyn. Gonna have to wait and see what happens before December 15th. The Nets are a disaster this year and i think they really need to make a move.

Some guys just play basketball because they are 7 feet tall and want to get paid. We will all see, is Mo the former or is he really an unfinished product. What we know about Mo, he's big and can shoot the 3 ball sometimes. His stroke looks pretty good, everything else looks bad. I understand the people sticking up for him, true fans like 4thewin only look at the positives. I applaud them. Meanwhile guys like me wonder why Luka Doncic is not on our team.

Aminu and Bamba for Gay and Poeltl. There is your Spurs trade. I think having more offense while keeping our defensive team is a must. I like Gay and Poeltl off the bench for our team. Spurs only do this if they decide to blow it up, let them ship Derozan and Aldrige to other teams. They are also signed for another year then become free agents right when we need the money. I would definitely give a pick up to make this happen.

Fultz is one of the strangest players to watch, he seems to move slowly but can get anywhere he wants.He has good handles too, i wish he could transfer some of these skills to Gordon.
