  1. I still think there is a little hope but i struggle to see what made him a number one pick. Forget about his shot, was he faster in College? Did he have elite handles that have since disappeared? What, exactly was he elite at in school? It sounds like i'm being sarcastic but i remember not even researching him during that draft because we had no shot at drafting him so i didn't watch any film.
  2. The refs are letting them rough our players up.
  3. You know whats funny though? If it's close in the fourth, you know Evan will hit 2 or 3 nice shots. He will just give up so many bad plays up until then...
  4. Getting roasted by whoever he defends and turning the ball over. Go Vucevic! Thanks god we only have a few more games with the Evan. I actually like his game a little, just not for this team.
  5. Looks like someone heard me! Go Ennis
  6. That last set was more like it, go GaRY CLARK!
  7. Notice how almost all of their 3's are catch and shoot and the majority of ours are off the dribble. Do we not have coaches? Do the players listen to them?
  8. I wish a coach would show T-Ross his footwork on video and at least try to get him to have good form. I mean the guy has been in the league forever and still looks like the same player that was on Toronto.

    2020 Official Playoffs Thread

Yeah without getting technical neither Fultz nor Bamba look like they have that basketball drive or passion. That's why it i think it would be logical to do a small reset or rebuild. Did you watch any of the Mavs or Clippers games? Watch Luka, this a kid who looked like he probably dribbled a basketball 6 hours a day since he was 3 years old. The guy has fun out there and you can tell he loves to play the game. I think some players get pushed into the game because they were born with a certain amount of size or skill. And to be more specific i think more then a few of our guys fall into that category.
  10. Yeah honestly guys like Giannis, Lebron,Kawhi have replaced the dominate centers from the past. Once they get in the lane you can't stop them and the refs always call the foul.
  11. OMG it did look good for a couple minutes there....oh well..
  12. I want to see more of Fultz in the next two games. What i mean is i want him driving to the basket and trying to get fouled, if he can't drive to the hoop and finish through contact about 4 or 5 times a game he will never, ever be an above average player. It will take him years to develop a good outside shot. Getting tough inside baskets, drawing fouls and making great passes from those drives are his skills i think. If we do not start seeing that a lot next spring he will not worth what his agents will ask for.
  13. I'm telling you he is just trying not to get hurt. Guy is as good as gone.

Yeah it just didn't make sense. At least Tobias had just started his prime and at least showed he could maybe be an elite stretch forward. He isn't, Horford would have been worth it if he was 4 years younger and they didn't have Tobias ans Embiid.

Eh it's bad for not being an all-star. It's all relative, Wiggins contract was high up the list on being the worst last year. He was traded, mostly on upside and youth. Tobias is what he is, he is not getting better so yeah it is one of the worst.

    2020 Official Draft Thread

    I like your thinking
  17. I get you guys, i do was just trying to give a little props to our team. The biggest take-away from both playoff seasons. Our players are very inconsistent. Some are also ball stoppers, most of them play hard despite what's been said. We need more shooters and once DJ and Evan are gone more ball handlers. So basically nothings changed in 6 years, but especially these last 3. I have a real good thought for all of you, something to think about our management. In that impressive win the other night, none of this managements last 3 draft picks played. Also the biggest free agent they acquired did not play. Think about that. No Isaac,Bamba,Chuma and no Aminu. Yeah Fultz was there from that mid-season trade. I give them no props for Fultz, at all. The media at the time said nobody else offered them anything better. Knowing the crap we gave them, how can we give Weltham points for that trade? And i will tell you of all those players the only one i want is Isaac. I don't like Bamba or Aminu and even though i haven't seen him i wouldn't have drafted Chuma. Going by the fact that they drafted a forward i would have drafted Clarke,Johnson,Okpala or Williams in that order before drafting a player who wasn't going to play. Now the fact that we have his rights for 4 years will be huge, if he is good. Which who the hell knows? He didn't play, this still bothers me. This isn't even using hindsight. If i am going by the rookies i saw this year i wish they would have drafted Thybulle, Bazley or Keldon Johnson again because i think one of them will be a star and the other two will be useful starters for ten years. Now of all those players acquired by our current management, the only one i'm 100% sure i like is the one i'm 100% sure just had a career altering injury. The rest i'm unsure about.Even Fultz, who is a huge question mark.I'm not even hating on him, he will probably be the number 1,2 and 3 reason i watch Magic games next year.
  18. Honestly i love the win and i'm glad Vucevic received so much love on sports shows. He really deserved it being the best player we have had since Dwight. Year in and out the guy plays hard. Let's do go Magic!
  19. I'm really sorry for posting this but this is exactly the problem with the Magic the whole rebuild. Getting locked into players and starting line-ups.So many times we should have been transitioning between back-ups and bringing in real challengers to the starters.
  20. Interesting win, considering all the injuries. The passing was there and the transition game was a monster for us, both our offense and defending them in transition. Amazing what can happen when shots go down and everyone plays hard.
  21. I couldn't post, but i watched the first and fourth quarters. Great win, this one is all Cliffy and Vucevic with the rest of the team playing amazing and giving it all they got. Kudos Magic for giving Orlando something to cheer about!

    2019-2020 Official Regular Season Thread

Hey i like your posts. That wasn't the point. Just information. If you can pick up a former number one pick for Simmons and a pick that was most likely to convey to two seconds, you do that every single time. The next step is far more crucial, will he blossom? And will our management cave to whoever is his agent?

Last nights OKC win means Philly gets a first round pick for the Fultz trade instead of 2 seconds. Just a little information for you in October when Philly picks at number 21.
