Sure. He won’t play unless there’s injury, though, so the benefit of unloading Aminu is worth it since he’ll only play in case of emergency

We’re currently playing 9. Okeke would only play if there was an injury. He’d just fill the current Aminu role at a cheaper cost. Based on his college film, he projects to be able to be a Aminu-type player pretty early on. Obviously, he has to translate that into NBA action, but Aminu loses his value once Okeke comes back.

Aminu is a placeholder for Okeke as he recovers. Once Okeke becomes healthy, Aminu becomes redundant and over-expensive since Okeke can do what Aminu does on a rookie contract. We signed Aminu because we knew we felt confident that our pick would be Okeke, but still needed someone to fill that spot while Okeke recovered. I’m sure Aminu knows that he’s a short term player here as Okeke recovers. I think we have to wait until January for us to trade him, but the writing is on the wall for Aminu due to the presence of Okeke.

There’s so many plays right now where it looks like our players have never played organized basketball before. Iwundu leaving his player wide open to help Gordon when Gordon was already in good position, Bamba being awkward and fumbling the ball away, Vuc losing the ball on a lay up where nobody laid a hand on him. This feels more like a 5 point game, we’re just playing like we’ve never seen a basketball before

Augustin played an extra three minutes. 21 for Fultz, 27 for Augustin. For Fultz and Cliff, the criticism should be usage. There’s no reason for Fournier to monopolize pick and rolls with the starting line up, and for DJ to run exponentially more pick and rolls in roughly the same minutes than Fultz. The rotation is fine when DJ’s providing offense

Not really. I don’t think I’ve seen him put in one pick and roll though. He just carries the ball up and passes it off to Fournier to just stand in the corner 99% of the time

I think it’s because MCW extended his foot into Richardson when he had room to land short of his ankle. I still disagree with it since it was just MCW trying to make an effort play and it was a natural landing, but I think that was the refs rationale

Biggest issues right now is turnovers and defense. Not exactly playing like a Clifford team
