Here’s a weird stat that I’ve been thinking about the past couple of days.. we only have TWO of our own drafted players in the starting lineup (one being a rookie. Even worse we don’t have any on the bench (besides Bamba who never plays).
To me, this just screams bad drafting decisions and it’s so infuriating.

Its a difficult 1. For all we know Bone just needs a proper opportunity.
Kelle getting hurt has thrown a massive spanner in the works
I honestly think Bone will prove to be great for us

Excited but only to see Fultz, Anthony, and Okeke. Everything else is a toss up for me

Like I said earlier I’m really happy about the Anthony pick! It’s been a while since we’ve had this type of scorer on our team
-
Anthony it is!!! Since the start of the offseason, he was my number one, right next to Nesmith

Nesmith or Anthony please!!!

LOL told y’all the draft already topped out

15. Kira Lewis
45. Traded
You forgot “15. Traded” because the draft topped out at 14

Is there an analyst who is usually spot on for the draft? Kinda like a Mel Kiper for the NBA? And if so, barring no trade, who are they predicting for us to take?
-
Its seeming like the experts are between Lewis Jr, Maxey, and Hampton. What are your guys thoughts? Personally I’m not really big on any, I was hoping we’d find more of a polished and consistent 3 point scorer

I’d be interested in how ESPN values our current players (specifically Evan and AG).
If it’s the one that I read it basically states that no one is off the table for the Magic to trade. But it didn’t go into specific trade options

Lol that’s what I’m worried about

If we don’t trade up in the draft then I’m fully ready for the gut punch of drafting another big who can’t shoot

Yeah my early observations are that we aren’t running so many plays for him and more so high and low screens for the easy pass

Might be too early in this game to ask this question but... are we better without Evan? Or is this a product of how we’ve been playing lately? Or is it who we’ve played lately? To me I think we are better without Evan

I’ll keep watching them like I usually do, but I am just not gonna expect much. This is NOT a playoff team. They don’t play as a team
-
I am officially off the boat with this team. They just can’t get it done. They lack purpose

What would your realistic trade deadline look like for the Magic?

Had this same thought last night

Our team has been terrible the past couple of games. It just seems like the players are too tired

A couple weeks of putting up numbers with high usage and not playing buddy ball and so many people on here completely forget what he is and forgive his sins.
That’s just the thing though, it hasn’t been high usage. He’s just been more consistent and he seems to understand the flow of the offense better

Think about the teams he has been on, they became better when he left. He finally gets to Philly and even though the team did well he didn't play well in the playoffs.
Evan is exactly like that, he is a very good player that should not be your best player. He should not be paid like your best player. In fact even though he has started for us for years he would be the perfect 6th man on a playoff team. It's because he can do a little of everything but isn't elite at one thing. I just don't see how we can sign up for another 4 years of Evan, even though he is a good player. It isn't hate, it's the hope of something better.
I actually think Evan is playing better this year. I know it’s a contract year but he just seems a little different this year. I think I actually believe in him for the future...

Fultz mid-range shot looks very fluid, but his 3 looks very bad. What do you guys think is the problem? And do you think he’ll ever get the fluidity back in his 3-point shot?

Man this season has been a complete mess. I can’t believe how we started to where we are now. I agree with tanking though, but I wouldn’t give up all our pieces because we could be in a great spot next year with everyone healthy plus a top draft pick
