Sure. Guys like Monta And Wade created offense. I just think at some point we need to actually see him do it consistently to label him that. I also think in today’s NBA attempting and making 3’s is of a bigger importance with that label.

You have said you haven't watched games in years and just watch highlights. I'm having a hard time figuring out where you are getting your opinions from.

I don't know. There are only 10 centers in the league that have made more threes than Bamba and shoot a higher percentage. That's out of 65 centers that have played real minutes this year.

I'd consider Bamba the better shooter but only attempting 1.7 shots lends itself to the volume arguement. Then again that may have more to do with minutes.

    A few thoughts:

    1. The team as currently constructed is not playoff competitive. I personally believe we need to go small ball with our bigs (Isaac and Gordon) and really upgrade our guard positions. Right now we have bigs that can shoot but not switch (Vooch and Bamba), and we have guards that can switch but not shoot (Fultz and MCW). Moreover, we still are missing a go-to scorer who can create his own shot.

    2. Is Fultz our starting point guard of the future? Until he can shoot the long ball, he is not, imho. I love Fultz’s potential and drive, but he’s got to be able to shoot. I don’t buy that he needs to wait until this summer to figure it out. He’s either deferring too much, physically limited, or afraid to miss. I hope he figures it out.

    3. Going back to point one, I really hope for changes this summer. The problem is the Magic seem to value loyalty over competency, so we’ll see. Continuing to roll with players like Fournier, Augustin, MCW, Aminu, and Vooch as the vet core isn’t going to lead to sustained winning.

I wouldn't consider Mo or Vuch as bigs who can shoot. They're both average at best.

This year he is in the bottom quartile, with a 40% FG% when posting up.

Last year he was in the 50th percentile with a 49% FG% on post ups.

In the 2018 season, he was again in the bottom quartile with a 40% FG% on post ups.

In 2017, he just missed the bottom quartile, with a 44.6 FG%.

2016 was the only year he posted good numbers in the post, just squeezing into the top quartile (75.6 %tile), with a 50% FG%.

While he has a variety of moves, the moves don't seem to create positive offensive production. He is not a good post player.

Thanks! I'm at work and didn't have time to find the actual numbers.
