    Rondo shows his true colors

I've seen him try to start a couple of fights already... the one that stands out was in Houston (I think), and tonight... not only does he sling him into the table, but then it looks like he swings on Heinrich when he pushes Rondo in retaliation. Dont watch the celtics much(i cant stand to watch them thats how much i hate them haha) but i dont mind a player with a mean streak but it would be nice to see him disciplined like any other player Whats going on? rondo isnt even what i would call a star haha

This is the first time Dwight has ever been disciplined by the NBA for on-court conduct, am I right? (not talking about techs obv.) You're right about the Chicago incident. I remember that as well. My statement wasn't alluding to the fact that Shaq is squeaky clean, as much as he's done a great job over the years to keep it at a minimum and Dwight needs to emulate that. He delibritely threw an elbow above the shoulders. The refs shouldn't have to make judgement calls on the floor if Dwight is a good guy or not. We have all watched games where Dwight gets testy and throws some elbows or pushes guys when they get physical with him. Dwight doesn't have a track record of this. But no matter if hes a saint or a sinner, the suspension is warranted. Lets just hope that with this, he learns that he cannot retaliate like he did. New to the site...but ive been peeping around all year... I agree dwight deserved what he got but your shaq argument holds nothing...shaq has gotten into plenty of tussles. And just because dwight finally mans up for once doesnt mean he isnt following in the same footsteps as shaq by being able to control himself "Manning up" doesnt mean you throw an elbow to the head of an opponant. And the rules are far different than in years past, where the Knicks and Heat and others have had full scale brawls and its been passed over. Shaq has had had some altercations, but for the most part, hes had to deal with the same things that dominate big men have had to deal with and has dealt with it, just like Howard needs to do. For the rest of his career, Dwight has to hold his temper as lesser bigs will grab and hold and push him, and he cant do what he did and achieve any success. We may step up and win game 6. But Dwight has to know that this isnt the regular season and the playoffs bring extra pressure and results. I dont believe we will lose this series, but if we do, his suspension will be one of the main reasons we are unsuccessful. Like i said previously i agree fully dwight was wrong and received the appropriate repercussions. My point was that shaq hasnt done any a better job than dwight has... Heres five fights that i found with minimal searching from shaq...his ability to hold his temper is no better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7T7MKpHDf8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...ext_from=PL&index=18 http://www.metacafe.com/watch/..._from_www_yawez_com/ http://dailymotion.virgilio.it...fight_sport?from=rss sorry dont know how to embed or know if we are allowed to Ill give you the first clip, as this was the Chicago game that we brought up earlier. The second clip was Parker running into O'Neal and there was absolutely no more contact than that. Shaq didnt touch his head or even take a swipe at him, clearly going for the ball and Parker basically ran into him. The third instance you brought had some pushing and shoving but not one instance where Shaq swung or made contact with his head. Same with the fourth clip, some words and some pushing. Look, welcome to the boards. Im not gonna go all night about Shaq vs. D12. The rules were a bit different than they are now on a lot of past skirmishes. But bottom line, besides his altercation with Miller, either it was a hard foul or really nothing at all. You'll be hard pressed to find many when he blatently went for the head when it wasn't part of the play. I just want Dwight there for us in the game. It was warranted and lets all hope it doesn't happen again. Dwights good people from what we have heard and his actions speak that. Welcome again, always glad to welcome intelligent discussions. my point wasnt about the severity of the fighting it was the fact that shaq makes bad decisions as well but lets just agree to disagree anybody just see the flagrant 1 foul they just called on wade? Seems to me the refs dont even know the rules haha
