A backup big does little to nothing come playoff time. After all thats all that really matters in the end. Id say there isnt one specific position we need to upgrade on. The only upgrade I see us needing is a wing defender whether its at the 2-3 doesnt really matter. Scoring isnt a problem for us so a slasher seems like a waste of an acquisition as well unless they can defend as well. Backup point we all know Duhon is horrible so thats a given. I do agree about Deron though but thats only if he is inserted instead of our current PGs. Losing Ryan and JJ would not be easily fixed by just adding Deron.

Although I beilieve we probably are one player away from serious contention I dont think that player needs to be an "all-star point guard". How many teams in recent years have won with an elite point?

Id like to go out on a limb and say Ryan is "THE MAN!!" Hypothetical question: If he continues to play like this he will obviously boost his trade value. Would it be worth it to trade him for a player like Iggy or Monta as previously discussed on here?

As he should be. I think this year will turn out better than we expected before the season started. Everybody seems to be putting in the effort needed to at least make a run in the playoffs.
