9 points is very do-able. Just need Vuch to stop shooting and keep moving the ball. -

Yeah, wasn't he who Hennigan really wanted in that draft? -

Yeah, strange that they didn't just sit him and get him rested up when they have spent the last three years doing that with their other stars. -

Every team we have played so far currently has a winning record. Lets change that and put Brooklyn where they belong. -

I would have preferred we traded Harris for something substantial, instead of the cap space that turned into Biyombo, and I would prefer Oladipo over Ross- but that is just me wishing. Anyway, as long as Gordon is playing, and with the way Fournier and Vuch have been playing so far, I am happy with our team. (I also enjoy watching Payton when he decides to be aggressive, he just isn't as good or fun to watch when he becomes more passive and decides to defer). I am just happy that those two look like they are starting to live up to their potential (small sample size, I know). -

So, does anyone else think we really screwed up with Oladipo and Harris? I am not saying that we shouldn't have traded them, but our return on investment was terrible and this young season is proving it so far. -

Small sample size? Biyombo currently is about 32% higher than last year. DeAndre Jordan is 52% higher than last year. Gobert (Not as bad as the others, but still in the 60% range previously) is 45% higher than last year. (I can find more examples) Not sure these early numbers are really anything to talk about right now, besides to say that a number of big men who struggled at the line last year are doing better so far this year. -

Huh? I never thought you were backpedaling- I was agreeing with your idea that Bledsoe is a better player, but disagreeing with your conclusion- that we should trade for him- especially since many of the proposals from others- not you- include Payton and/or Augustin and/ or first round picks. If it is just your proposal, you probably do it- but I think you might be overly optimistic there. -

Yep, I am a Payton fan, but if it wasn't for the knees I'd be all in on trying to get Bledsoe here. Those knees are what make me nervous, which makes me trust Payton more long term (if we are just looking at the two of them). Bledsoe impacts the game much more when he is on the court, but he has missed substantial time and age is not often kind on bad knees. He has two more years on his contract, but do you really want the team to be pressured to give a big contract to an injury prone PG? Because that will likely to happen to whichever team trades for him- no matter how much time he spends injured over the next two seasons. -

If Tier 1= Paul, Westbrook, Curry, Harden?, etc And Tier 2= Wall, Lowry, Conley, etc. And Tier 3 is Holiday, Teague, and players like Payton at the low end- Bledsoe at full health is either lower Tier 2 or upper Tier 3, right? -

Not bad. I really think Vuch stepping out the extra few feet to the 3-point area will really help his game, and the early numbers all look good. If we can end next week either 4-2 we should be excited about this team, and if we can end 3-3, we are on track. Losing to Brooklyn again would be a downer though. -

I think it is hard to tell what changes will really help this team right now- too weird of a start to the season. Unless it is a clear upgrade, probably shouldn't make any changes right now to the team. -

I don't think it is worth it injury-wise. We would need at least 3 PGs as I believe Bledsoe has missed substantial time basically every other year. -

So the best possible option next summer (besides just keeping Payton) will likely be Kemba, but there will be a bidding war for him as the only good PG on the market without any injury concerns. -

Looks like Wiggins is proving me wrong, though statistically it looks like he is still struggling on defense. -

Are we sure Bledsoe is substantially better than Payton at this time that this is a clear upgrade especially when we include Bledsoe's injury history? -
I mean, this is probably the best game DJ has had for us- so not sure we can expect this too often.
-
Biyombo- DUNK THE BALL!!!!!
-
Hezonja is playing some great D on Lebron.

We look like a team right now. Also- glad Jeff Green finally decided to help us win a game.

Vuch has been on fire to start the season- hope he can keep this up all year.
