Where has this Mario been! He’s been the best player on the floor so far for us.
-
That probably should have been goal tending
-
Lol Mario has almost all of our points right now. Both these teams are crap-tastic

Wow, we are basically missing 4 of our top 8 when everyone is healthy. -

The ultimate tease. -
Yep, I think the conversation has been which team would best be able to make him an nba player/ offer him a contract.
-
Well it is certainly off topic...
-
For some reason I think San Antonio would be perfect

He should make sure to focus on other stuff when his shot isn't falling and not force things. -

The best we can do for them is a benched big and a broken down older shooting guard on one of the worst teams in the league? I think they should have some more value than that, even if maybe not a lot more. -
Yeah, Payton's advanced numbers are the best they have ever been, but he still grades out to around average for a starting PG. But how many PGs are there who both shoot threes and play good defense who are both at least in the same ball park of ability as Payton and could possibly be available? Sometimes you have to take what you have.

https://www.theringer.com/nba/2017/12/1/16722538/detroit-pistons-andre-drummond So I was reading the above article on Detroit, which talks a good amount about the changes that Van Gundy has been trying to make up there, which seem to finally be bearing fruit this season. I think most of us on this board still respect Van Gundy as one of the better coaches in the league (and I would argue that he is also one of the more imaginative as well, finding ways to build competent offenses with limited star players), but it has taken him a while to finally get Detroit going. The point being that there has been some talk on the board during the losing streak of possibly getting rid of Vogel. But the truth of it is that we have a flawed roster currently, and it might just take more time for him to really work out a good system. -

Good thing they went to overtime last night too. That might help a little. I bet that most play though. -

Yep, notice how the very best teams are also constantly changing things up slightly? I think San Antonio is a perfect example of that. As successful as they have been, Pop is constantly tinkering with his line ups and with how they play as a team. -
We need someone to help us rebound- our rebounding is atrocious right now.

I feel they feed off of one another. By themselves they probably wouldn't be as bad. -

Hey, he gets like one great pass to Biyombo a game (seriously, how does he suck so much when he flashes so much talent at times?) -
Also, how does Payton have a higher offensive rebounding percentage than Gordon? Come on Gordon, you should be better than that!
-
While I agree to a certain extent, a lot of our rebounding woes are due to laziness, just not going after the ball or boxing out. This team doesn't look like it is going to be a good rebounding team, but right now we are a terrible rebounding team.

Second 40 point game for Gordon, and this time not against the Brooklyn Scrubs.

I mean Payton has been better offensively recently than Vuch, so not sure if that holds water. And I guess it would be more correct to say that Payton is not a main problem. -

At the same time, he isn't really the problem right now. -

By my count, that is 11 players you definitely trade Gordon for and 6 that you probably trade him for and 16 you maybe trade him for.
