Outside of the usual suspects, I like Shump, KJ, Jeff Green if available, Tristan Thompson as a backup big -
So dumb. I think there was something going on behind close doors with that team this past season though
-
Apparently after hearing those comments his team decided to keep him of the roster for their game that day despite a bunch of NBA scouts in attendance

Wouldn't analytics inform said GM of that fact? -
Certainly a concern with every euro, but Hezonja is playing in a professional league while Exum was playing against Australian high schoolers
-
While yes, half of last year's prospects are injured and the other half still developing, the perception of last year's draft was that it was not as good as originally advertised, so people will see things to justify that sentiment. No one expected this draft to be this good, however, ABC so the comparative perception would lead one to thinking this draft is better than last's, despite the comparative real ability of the players
-
My biggest gripe with Stanley Johnson is that his name is so non descript
-
in reality, sure. but perception may be different
-
I think people are saying this draft is better because of expectation. Everyone thought last year's draft was going to be great, ave then when we got through the college season it turned out these players were maybe not as good as we thought. This coming draft is the opposite of that
-
I think having a coach like Thibs would be key if we were to go with Draymond at 4. GS defends really well at every level and every position, a product of Mark Jackson's tenure and further reinforced by Kerr. They also have a great defensive system. All of this helps Green be great at what he does. The Dantoni-Rambis combo also serves to create a close facsimile of GS's offense As for my equation, Payton I guess would serve as Livingston or maybe Jarrett Jack from a few years back. I suppose you could run three guard sets. Like I said, the idea is dumb because it doesn't really fit a lot of players we have, essentially replacing the last three players we drafted. It would also likely take moving one of them to acquire Hunter/Hezonja/Stauskas/any sweet-shooting big 2

Still sticking with jimmy butler as my hopeful yet realistic prediction of what Oladipo will be -
Sort of anyway
-
This will sound dumb but bear with me: Draft Russel and RJ Hunter Sign Draymond Get Thibs as head coach Kurt Rambis and Dantoni as assistants Add time You are now the golden state warriors
-
Alright, I'm sold. Go get Russell. Do whatever you have to do.

personally still prefer Exum in the long run right now, but Elf has been better in almost every facet this year the argument isnt really Exum or Payton anyway, it is Exum or Gordon -
hunter scored the last 13 points right? kid is already wearing black and blue (or is it white and gold) so I say keep him in those colors at the next level
-
that was maybe the most ridiculous shot i have seen

I don't know what it is, but it is hard for me to get behind a 6'6" guy as our defensive anchor next to Vuc -
I dunno. Davis's stat line doesn't really do justice to the impact he had on the court. Plus, Davis absolutely passed the eye test in that it was clear he was the best player on the court every single game. Hard to say that about Towns
-
this magic team would lay waste to that kenutcky team Speaking of, I have been wanting to bring this up about this Kentucky team: for as good as their record is, I think they are probably the worst of the three "great" UK teams that Calipari has had (the others being the Cousins/Wall team and the AD team)
