Kuminga apparently wants out of GS because he doesn’t think Kerr will ever play him. I m not advocating trading for him but Warriors are so interesting to think about. They had the chance to really extend the window when they landed the second pick and just picked the wrong guy. Seems like they also missed on the Kuminga moody year. Wonder what the landscape of the nba is if they had taken Ball that year. Also seeing them now I understand why bob myers retired lol I don’t know what their pick situation is but I think they are a team to look at trying to snatch a future pick hoping they fall in the tank, but hard to know when that will be so long as they have Steph

First game I went in the new arena was up in the rafters and honestly there a great viewing angles everywhere

Honestly add Paolo to that group. Kind of tired of him tbh Or wait were you being serious?
-
Maybe I’m incorrect but it seems to me everyone involved in the front office back then puts the blame on themselves for not retaining Shaq

Is Davion Mitchell just bad or what? We do need a pg
-
He is our best player and despite the exit circumstances our most iconic player ever. Put the franchise on the map. I’m fine with it

Bit of bad board luck here at the end and it looks like we will probably lose. Amazing we have stuck around in these OTs with the lineup that is in

Gotta love the phantom touch giving us the ball back after the phantom offensive foul took it away
-
I think I feel the exact opposite about this trade lol. OG may not be a star but he is ascending and is better than anyone they could spend their money on in free agency, as well as the best player in the deal. Quickley is a nice player and idk what Barrett is but this doesn’t move the needle for Toronto in the short or long term for me

I wonder how much of the prototype weltman model we will be able to follow with later draft picks. At the front of the draft we’ve always had access to the athletes with the best measurements.

We’ve had a bad conditioning staff for a while imo
-
I feel like that trade makes both teams worse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Franz finally hitting some 3s is good to see

A dispiriting effort on defense down the stretch

Stat line outside of Paolo are horrific
-
Yeah that makes sense. There are a lot of interesting lineups they could do. I could be talked into moving AB for him because it adds a dynamic we don’t have. Would require them committing fully to Paolo as point and I don’t think they want to do that (amongst the other reason they won’t trade AB). Maybe we can convince them on Jett lol

He would probably have to start at 5 to make it work, but Markannen is apparently potentially available in the trade market and boy that would be a fun add. I don’t know what the assets would have to be; you’d hope for a package based around Wendell since he would effectively replace him in the lineup but also they have Kessler and Lauri isn’t really a C anyway. Black is maybe the most valuable guy you would be most willing to part with, but I doubt our FO would do that

Shout out to Dante Exum, the guy who I almost quit being a fan of the team after we didn’t draft. Had made 8 threes all year on 28% coming into tonight where he hit 7 of 9
-
PG is the logical upgrade spot but idk if there is anyone that really fits the bill. I said before I think Darius Garland is the ideal type of player but he won’t be available. A Mike Conley type would be interesting too

Ingles with the rare minus game
-
I can ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree that they likely won’t do anything big that would shake up the core culture of the team, but I think there are still moves they could make around the edges to bring players that would improve the team. While I don’t think any of the talked about suspects make sense, I think a big swing trade is still in the table tho probably not until after the season. All the basketball people always bring up the magic as a potential big shaker in free agency after the year because of a potential mountain of cap space, but even then I don’t know who will be available. I think a lot will be determined by how we finish and how some players’ health pans out
-
I think he would be a good add. Plenty of contenders will be thinking the same so the price may be higher than one would think
-
Maybe it’s a matchup thing with Brooklyn. Just weird we lost in the same way as last time
-
I love this so much. It is all well and good to see basketball writers coming around to us, but it really hits a sweet spot coming from players, especially those who actually played against us the last time we were good
