I'd do Dunleavy, Snell and a 1st round pick (or both preferably) for Afflalo. That's pretty similar to the Redick deal and Dunleavy would have some value at the deadline with a contender as well. I'd use the picks either to trade up or draft and stash, don't want more than 2 rookies on the team this season really.

If we could get Tony Snell thrown in to any Chicago deal for Afflalo I'd be happy.

Bit disappointed. I felt Porzingis was a sleeper pick for us at 12 but it makes sense for him. He quite possibly could go top 10 (or even 5) next year in a weaker draft with more improvements in his game.

Randle at 4 passing on Vonleh and Exum. Lavine at 12. Nelson starts at PG for all of next season. To me that's just about the worst case scenario that doesn't include James Young (lol). But who knows, maybe Nick is right. Maybe Rob REALLY wants Jahlil Okafor? ...

Anderson has nothing to do with the decision making in the organisation. I'm sure he knows guys in the front office and talks to them but am I supposed to believe he and Rob discussed who the Magic were going to draft over a cup of coffee one morning? Whoever we do draft at #4, whether it's Vonleh, Randle, Exum or even frickin Isaiah Austin I'm pretty sure he, like the rest of us, won't know before it happens.

They do. The Exum/MCW comp is mind boggling to be honest. How it's a good thing to compare a prospect to one of the worst shooting players in the league who stat padded as a result of his teams ridiculously fast pace is beyond me. While I think the 09 Turk comparison for Saric is fair I also think Saric has the potential to be more than that.

Those comparisons are ridiculous.

When I said "He's older than Afflalo" it wasn't a comment on him being old. It was a comment on the fact that people seem to want to trade Afflalo because he's too old or because he won't be in his prime when the rest of the team is but Gibson is virtually the same age (slightly older).

Gibson was born June 1985. Afflalo was born October 1985.

I wouldn't give anything up for Gibson. He's older than Afflalo and in my opinion his potential impact isn't worth paying him 8 million a year for the next 3 years. I'd take him off Chicago's hands for nothing if they wanted to give him away to clear up cap space but that's about it and I think they'd get better offers.

I heard that they leaked that because Philly were interested in moving to #1 to draft Wiggins and the Cavs wanted the Bucks to pass on Embiid so that they could get him at 3.

He's a legitimate point forward who has developed his 3 point shot, has a decent post game and loves to grab a board and go end to end and either assist or score. He is a really naturally talented player who understands the game. Doesn't have very good lateral quickness to guard wings or strength to guard bigs but he at least gives effort on D. Hard to come up with a great comparison that I like personally but here are the 3 I've heard at some point or another: 2009 Hedo, Boris Diaw and Lamar Odom.

If Embiid doesn't schedule workouts with teams outside the top 3 I don't buy those reports. If he does, then that's when things will start getting unpredictable.

They were room mates during the first time Exum played for Australia and they may still be room mates when playing for Australia but they're not actively living together on a day by day basis.
