I wouldn't say "Harkless is one of the Magic's better players" is a widely stated position anywhere so I doubt he would have taken that from here, and I'm a huge Harkless fan.

Man, Jacque was more pissed than I've ever seen in his post game interview. He's not shouting or yelling but you can tell he's really angry.

Nice game, nothing really to complain about... Glad Vic is back, AG was great in limited mins, it looked like Vuc was having a rough night but he really turned it on in the 4th. Harris and Fournier had good games too.

The disappointing thing about that picture is that a Championship team is giving more play time to their 30th pick than we are to our 4th pick. Have a feeling that will change though as the season progresses.

I fell to sleep at half time of this game... :( Glad we won though.

The reasoning in my head for why Payton didn't play so much is because we have games coming thick and fast and he's not used to this many games so we're protecting him from fatigue. Still would have liked to see him in there at the end though.

Vuc is a beast still. Evan is awesome. Tobes had a good game. Channing was hot early and they stuck to him like glue pretty much every time down after that. We just pushed the best team in the East (as of right now) to their limits so while I'm disappointed I can see the positives. With Dipo I think we win that game.

Not letting Payton guard Lowry in that game was the first thing Jacque has done that's made me really annoyed at him. Ridnour is fine, he moves the ball, he can make an open jumper, I'm happy with him being our backup guard... But seriously... He can't defend.

Cheaper too it seems.

Free throws are my biggest concern for Nik. He shoots less free throws than guys who only play 15-20 mins a night. Admittedly he does get some blatant no calls on him though.

If you think Oladipo has the highest ceiling for stardom take a second and think about the fact that at 19 Oladipo couldn't dribble, shoot, pass or do anything other than defend and be athletic. Like at all. Aaron on the other hand has a competent handle and good passing instincts, on top of being a strong finisher and astounding defensive instincts/quickness. (Seriously, how many 6'9 guys have the lateral quickness of a guard?)

The only major problem I have with this game is that Vuc shot nearly 60+% from the floor, had 27 points and didn't attempt a FG in the 4th... Seriously?! Feed the post!

At the risk of sounding Incredibly nerdy, Elf's aren't, in general, little. In fact they are quite often described as tall and slender. Only Santa's elves are small (that I can think of).

I'm cautiously optimistic about this game. I'm not expecting to win but I think we have a good chance.

No it's not. Not at all. Just because a guy plays one game (25-35 mins max out of however many minutes he's played in his career) playing predominantly in the paint doesn't suddenly negate the fact that he's a very effective 3 point shooter. I'd actually be pretty disappointed if Jacque didn't draw up a 3 point play for our (probably) best 3 point shooter. If Frye sinks that shot nobody even for a moment thinks this and we all move on. Because he didn't it's some kind of big deal. Not exactly sure how the outcome of one shot (which on average only goes in 35-40% of the time) is a reason why Vaughn is a bad coach. (EDIT: Kind of assumed that barnettej was talking about Frye here based on stuff he was saying in the chat, just realized that he didn't actually mention Frye in his post.)

In comparison to some of his passes, that one actually comes off as pretty average haha (love me some Rondo also, don't really know why because he comes off as a complete ***hole and plays for the Celtics but there are times when he's just captivating)

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic in order to point out that "taking shots nearer the basket" doesn't make somebody a better shooter.

When Vic comes back our bench will be helped greatly by Fournier.

Draftexpress have already pumped out a lot of scouting vids on the top prospects. I assume they'll redo some of them towards the end of the season with players improvements etc.
