I actually agree with the thought that Dedmon should have been at the rim not the inbounder. Andre Miller is going to get the ball in either way and he doesn't have time to receive the ball back for a shot (nor is he a threat from there if he did have time), he's also always been excellent at throwing the lob pass. I'll live with them getting a quick hoist at the rim from beyond the arc, even with Beal, Wall and Pierce they only have an outside chance of making a contested shot in .8 of a second . Taking away the lob should have been the #1 priority.

Win back to back games on the road and it's all about how well guys played and nobody says a word about Jacque, lose to a playoff team on a last second tip in without our best player and Vaughn is the worst thing ever. Nobody blames Payton for essentially running Harris into a charging call when we were up 3 with 36 seconds left and the ball (the call was crap too Btw but Payton still should have slowed it down at that point.) We played well, we just made some mistakes that young teams make.

There is no evidence that Marble is part of the future.

The increasing cba has me wondering if we could maybe get Harris to sign a shorter deal to allow us more flexibility and him a chance for more money if he keeps his performance up. Maybe a 42 million over 3 years type deal.

I think if he keeps playing like this we'll try and get the extension signed before he has a chance to sign an offer sheet with another team. Harris seems like he wants to be here so it could just be a matter of sitting down and getting a deal done. I still think it was the right move to wait and see this summer though.

Another win! Woot! Didn't watch the game but just been catching up a little and Tobias was huge, also Frye making that 3 as the shot clock expired was pretty big. This has been a successful road trip if you ask me. We're going to win more road games this year than the last 2 combined!

Dipo has been really poor on defense so far this season. Doesn't even try to get over screens it feels like.

Watching Kentucky vs Texas, notes so far: Kentucky have been terrible on offense (at one point they scored 1 basket in like 7 minutes). Nobody has stood out but Towns, WCS and Johnson have all had moments. If Tyler Ulis was 4 inches taller he'd be a lottery pick, really quick with the ball, can shoot and a scrappy defender but at 5'9... yea I don't know... I said in the Kentucky vs 76ers thread he'd be lucky to make it in the league but honestly I'd be delighted to be wrong about that. EDIT: WCS is a real disruptive force on defense. So long, can hedge high, blocks shots.

The biggest question surrounding this game has to be: can I manage to stay awake until the 2am (my time) tip-off to see Payton vs Exum?

Frye has been far from stellar but at the same time there's no stat for "player scores because big man can't help since hes out on the perimeter guarding the 3 point shot"

So promising he went undrafted and got waived 20 games into the season.

Wish I could have watched this. Kinda sucks to lose like that but Steph is a special player and that was a great shot to essentially win the game. Glad Dipo had a good game, hope he can continue play like this because my fantasy team needs it. After this though I can see us totally collapsing tonight at the Clips, hope I'm wrong though.

Yea I'm being kind of impatient I realise and I hope he starts getting some play time and proving me wrong because I was excited to see him play before the season started.

First game I miss is a win! Damn. And the "highlights" on NBA.com don't show a single Magic basket besides the Vuc travel that wasn't.

I've heard some things about his laziness and attitude in the past which are a big knock on him (and are why we probably won't draft him) but Chris McCullough seems like a guy whose skill set would be pretty good for this team. He's 6'10 and averaging 2.5 blocks and nearly 2 steals a game. He's not an elite rebounder but he has a jump shot and some perimeter skill to go along with his length and athleticism on the defensive end.

There Is more to development than just playing. How do people not understand this?

My early call for potential bust among the top guys is Kelly Oubre. Guy is barely seeing the court and he's being talked about as a top 5 pick because "potential". Potential is all well and good but until I see him actually play for an extended time I wouldn't touch him.
