Hope everybody had a great Christmas! My gift to all of you is this lovingly created game thread that isn't an emergency, last minute deal. Magic (11-20) VS Cavaliers (17-11) Starting Lineups Elfrid Payton Victor Oladipo Tobias Harris Kyle O Quinn Nikola Vucevic Kyrie Irving Matthew Dellavedova Mike Miller Lebron James Tristan Thompson Kevin Love Obviously will be a tough game but the Cavs are on the second night of a back to back and lost yesterday to the Heat! Go Magic! (I'd post some ESPN preview or something but it'd probably be 90% about Lebron and the Cavs anyway so who cares?!)

I'd say stopping Wade is priority #1. Hopefully Bosh is rusty.

Wait so people think Victor, a 40% 3 point shooter in his last year of college and a guy who shoots 78% from the FT line in his nba career who is shooting 38% from 3 this year, has less chance of improving his shooting than Payton who was a career 27% 3 point shooter and 61% FT shooter in college? I guess that's true when you consider Victor improving would make him a great shooter whereas Payton improving would make him a passable shooter.

I agree. I think Okafor is such an awesome post scorer that he could be a legitimate #1 option and 20+ ppg scorer.

You want the Magic to get an athletic defensive center and your idea is Jahlil Okafor? Okafor is a terrific prospect but he's not a great athlete (he's a good athlete just not great) and he is not a great defensive player.

I really like Ben Gordon. He's such a predictable guy, I know exactly what he's going to do every time down the floor and he still manages to get free for shots. To be honest the fact that he's considered washed up is probably helping him now.
