I don't think I have the will power to wake up in the middle of the night once I'm already asleep. Anyway screw it I'm going to watch this game (or at least as much of it as I need to until I decide we've lost).

I'm hoping Calipari shortens his rotation come closer to the tournament. I want to see Towns step.

Vince Carter to go off on the Magic now confirmed. Also, my brain says "there is no way you should stay awake to watch this game, you have a lecture at 9am, and it's only the 2nd one, you can't miss the second lecture" and my heart says "dude you should totally stay up and watch this game... What if the Magic win? You can totally catch up later!" I am conflicted.

It should be noted that around the draft last year people were saying Porzingis could go "as high as 12". Which suggests that we were at least interested in him. Honestly with a pick in the 5-7 range I can see us taking him.

What O touched upon is really the reason I'm so down after losses. Not necessarily because I think we should be winning all our games or whatever but because this team is so likeable. They're all fairly well spoken, hard working guys and I want so much for them to succeed and it sucks that even though I LIKE everybody on the team on a personal level, at least half of them consistently force me to admit they suck at basketball.

I go back and forth on Mudiay... He's looked good in China but does that mean anything? He's kind of what I imagine Andrew Harrison would have been like if he wasn't trash...

Not that I'm strictly on the "fire Jacque" wagon but here's an article i found from a little while ago (this summer I think) about the good coaching prospects that are out there because I'm tired of hearing the same 5 or 6 names get thrown around (Karl, Malone, Jackson etc) http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/67711/the-next-wave-of-head-coaching-prospects I think, if we were to look for a new coach any time soon, we'd probably be more likely to pick a current assistant coach or a college coach over some of these big name coaches people mention. Obviously I haven't heard of most of the assistant coaches on that list but I think Tony Bennett is an interesting guy. He has Virginia at 19-0 and they're first in the country in points allowed per game and I could probably only name one of their players. Not sure if he'd be a good fit with us but he certainly must be looking ever more likely to get an NBA job offer sooner rather than later.

I wouldn't mind nabbing Chris Obekpa in the 2nd round if he was available. No offensive game but shot blocking and rebounding. Playing pretty good defense on Okafor tonight apparently.

I don't understand what people think Seth Curry can do that anybody on our roster can't. There's a reason he's in the D league and it's not like he's some 19 year old who's raw and needs some playing time, he's older than Vuc.
