It's risky but I think you have to take a long look at Adrien Griffin. Hes considered one of the best Assistant coaches in the league by many and he might look at joining Thibs in Minnesota if he can't get a head coaching job.

Would he? I thought Calhoun stepped down after Shabazz' sophomore year? Also I'd say the pool of point guards coached by Calipari is more talented than those coached by Calhoun.

The Grizzlies firing Joerger is mind blowing to me. With a roster so hit by injuries they played like 20 different lineups this year they still made the playoffs. This is twice the Grizzlies have fired coaches after good seasons and I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Conley was a bit annoyed.

I hate this revisionist history crap. Dude was not good again all year but he has like 2 good playoff games and suddenly we made a huge mistake trading him.

I think the Magics Free Agency chances are being underrated by the media. How many teams can offer: great weather, no state income tax, in the East, enough cap room to sign 2 max guys or 1 max guy and a couple good vets and a roster that will probably improve by 5 wins before any additions are made.

If the Warriors are without Steph the rest of the way I'm taking the Spurs.

Darren Collison might be a decent trade target if we acquire a max contract big or wing and want a steady PG who can play off ball.

I think we'll keep the pick and trade someone else if we need to make more cap room. The value of having a contributor on a rookie scale contract is too good to trade away.
