Vuc essentially makes like 8 mil a year old cap wise, if he comes off the bench so what? He makes bench money in this landscape. He'll still probably get good minutes because he's the best scorer we have. Also with Biyombo being foul prone Vuc will need to step in. I really think we keep Vuc but I've been wrong before.

I think we're kind of building towards taking advantage of small ball by staying big but using our athleticism to get stops. Payton Hezonja Gordon Ibaka Biyombo Go small on that team and see how it ends for you.

If we're not a top 5 defense I think I'll be dissapointed.

I'm not certain about Biyombo starting. Guy is very foul prone. But we'll see. If we do trade Vuc we better hope to win games 87-84 or something every night.

Well sure but if you can get something of value for him it'll probably be worth more than the 15 minutes or so a game he can provide considering he's expiring and we probably won't be keeping him long term.

I wasn't in love with the Meeks trade but I'm starting to think it's great. If Meeks has a good first half of the year a 6.5 million expiring who can hit 40% from 3 might be pretty attractive to a contender.

1 plus 1 isn't in the benefit of either side. I'm sure Green sees this as a payday with the opportunity to prove he's worth this money long term, if he succeeds he'll want a big deal not us picking up a team option. We need him to come off of the books for free agency next year so if he sucks and has a player option we're screwed.

Just a thought about Augustin. Not only has he played for Vogel before but he's also played with Jodie Meeks and Serge Ibaka before.

Considering what the 6ers are paying Bayless I'd say the DJA deal is a win.

I don't really factor in Napier in the roster, I expect he'll battle for a roster spot in camp and might end up being waived. Roster looking something like this so far: Payton/Augustin/Watson Fournier/Hezonja/Meeks/Watson Gordon/Hezonja Ibaka/Gordon Vuc/Dedmon If we're not going to sign any big names we still need a bench big and a bench 3/4.

Green is a solid option to strengthen the rotation without hogging minutes from Mario and AG.

Jack would be a GREAT pick up... If we knew he'd come back like he was pre injury.
