Everyone relax, we made progress this year

For 10 years we were stuck in purgatory, we have finally taken some steps forward.

 

Jameer played very well for us in the playoffs, perhaps he and SVG finally are comfortable with each other? Jameers game is tied to his J, We started seeing him make them and his play improved a lot. Do we still need a strong backup? Sure but he did well.

 

Hedo became an all star type player he should only get better going into next year.

 

Gortat showed some potential he will play a lot more next year, Battie will be back..we will be stronger up front.

 

Dwight took his game to the next level, and under Patrick Ewing I expect him to develop a turn around jumper and a mid range j soon. Remember he's 22 years old guys he can still improve a lot.

 

We found ourselves a good coach, you can nitpick SVG all you want but the fact is he took us to 52 wins in a year where we had only 1 big man.

 

If we can upgrade our SG slot and get a true legit starting 2 we are set guys. Sign Corey Maggette, or even a James Posey type of guy. If we do that and can get ourselves a reliable, consistant backup point we will be better next year.

 

We could've won each of the last 4 games vs the pistons, we will learn from this our players got valuable experiance and we will come back strong next year.
