Well we have the pieces and ALOT of expirings. Golden State wants Arroyo for Pietrus and a Garrity throw-in, along with Fran should be able to get us Wright.

 

the Sonics are rebuilding from KD and JG on up. So it wont be very difficult to pry Wilcox out of there. Give them expirings, Rakovic and a 2009 2st rounder and Wilcox is ours

I don't think Golden State makes that deal. They're giving up too much for essentially Arroyo and filler.

bingo... no way GS trades wright, unless its a blockbuster...just remember they gave up richardson to get him, theyre not gonna give him up for a handful of avg to below avg players...and wilcox, we can always pray for a fire sale in seattle

Well not quite. They gave up Richardson because Charlotte was the only team with enough cap space to dump him on. GSW needed to dump salaries to steer clear of the luxury tax and re-sign Monta Ellis with no problem. Charlotte needed a go-to scorer and a "leader for the team". Jordan also wanted to use that pick to get a veteran that would help them and they nabbed Richardson.

I think that deal might happen, if all three GM's are hanging out in the basement smoking the wacky tabacky ala 'That 70's Show'. But I htink the op is correct, that would be a good deal for the Magic.
