Otis is not talking Arenas into opting out of his contract or taking any type of paycut....best buds or not.

 

We are not trading Gil or Turk, we are stuck with both of them and their ridiculous contracts.

 

We are not getting Chris Paul or any other max type player.

 

We are stuck with who we have, and that's the way it is. Either you're a Magic fan or not, deal with it.....or hop off the bandwagon.

 

 

Only way any of the above is not, is if we trade Dwight (sad, I know). That's the only way we would be able to get rid of any of these horrible contracts. I cringe at the thought, but it's the only way to dig ourselves out of the hole Otis has dug.

 

 

How fun it is to look back at the mistakes made and play Monday morning GM. Going back to 2004, with Dwight as our centerpiece, it's kinda hard not to put together a championship caliber squad.

 

-draft Rondo instead of JJ

-don't sign Rashard Lewis to a crippling, max effing contract

-get a rebounding PF to help Dwight down low, someone with some range. It could be anyone in the league since we had a max contract to offer. Dwight+Z-Bo makes me wet

-How hard is it to find a decent SG who can play a little perimeter D?

-would the SF even matter?
