Fixed.

Yes, thank you. Little tipsy here. Knew I was close enough for it to be recognized.

It would've taken me a hot second to recognize it were I not watching that show online as I write this.

Is there a "little" in there? Feels like it's missing something.

downfall straight to the best 3 years in franchise history?

best 3 years of franchise history and still no championship........

if you aren't the champions then you don't matter.

thats bull.

if you're not first..........you're last.

all the teams accomplishments means nothing. there is still no championship.

You don't go from the end of the line to the front, you have to pay your dues and work your way up. To insist that the time and effort you put in, that the journey itself is pointless, is narrow minded, and, quite frankly, stupid and childish.

You aren't a true fan. The journey is better than the destination.

I am a true fan. I just have a very black and white view of competition

today we saw uruguay and germany battling for 3rd place......3rd place. does 3rd place matter? of course not. neither team has a shot at winning the world cup championship so todays match was pretty irrelevant. 3rd place is as good as last. its as good as not qualifying for the round of 16.

winning 59 games 2 years in a row does not matter

being division champs 3 years in a row does not matter

setting an nba record for most 3s made in a season does no matter

first playoff sweep in franchise history does not matter

the journey only matters when you reach the destination.

If 3rd place doesn't matter, then why would those teams compete to win that match? Why are there fans there cheering on their teams? Tell a team that has struggled to make it into the World Cup for several years that what they accomplished doesn't matter if the make it in and get into the elimination round, much less end up in third over all. Winning means more based on the journey. If you struggle and overcome adversity, victory is all the sweeter. If it's a cakewalk and really presents no challenge, it feels meaningless. Therefore, the journey must mean something.

You're an idiot.

thats bull. This all establishes a legacy. Its part of our relationship with the team. Its something we can talk about years from now, about how we walked the same path with each other, with the team.

Championships are a luxury. Its something we can taste because we've been so close. If we win one this year, yeah sure we'll talk about the glory season, but we'll also talk about McGrady, Darrell Armstrong, Penny and Shaq, Courtney Lee, JJ, Scott Skiles, the ****ty but homey arena, the venue vote, Game 7 in boston, beating King James, the nick anderson free throws, Grant Hill, all of the horrible trades, all of the horrible draft picks, everything.

Everything Matters.

Thank you! Can't bring myself to say it but that's pretty satisfying to see.
