You're Fat, Pat! 98 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 http://awfulannouncing.blogspo...offs-announcing.html So. AT LEAST games 1-3 will be Matt Devlin, Kevin McHale, and Cheryl Miller. Now, if you know basketball, you know those last two names. But who is Matt Devlin, you ask? Allow me to educate you on this subject. haha. Okay, so that is him. But seriously, he is the Raptors announcer...as in, the guy that's always riding Chris Bosh's (fill in the blank). Perhaps this will remind you: BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE...Devlin's previous job is guaranteed to intrigue you: Check it out. Let the conspiracy theories begin. IronMaiden 43 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 Eh, I'm just glad we get some Kevin Harlan. As a KC native, he started off announcing Jayhawk games, then was the KC Chiefs radio announcer from 85-93. Have always been a fan of his announcing.

I think it happened around November/December. That's my theory anyway.

He is not like he was last year.

Even SVG says that JVG makes stupid comments on the the air.

I even remember last year when he asked ESPN if they wanted to take him off our broadcasts because he wouldn't be able to not be biased toward us. Seriously though, some people here probably turn on their mother if she doesn't tell them she loves them every day. Just because someone thinks the cavs (you know, the team with the best record in the nba) are the favorites to win it all doesn't mean its a slap in the face to our team. So are you telling me that you do not think that the announcers of ESPN and ABC are biased? Or are you saying that we should not be offended that Cleveland is the favorite? I will agree that they should be the favorite. However I will not agree that they are biased in their announcing and broadcasts. Lebron got more facetime in the last game than anyone and he didn't even play....
