BLOCK PARTY 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 The new NBA poll on the nba.com homepage is "Assuming LeBron wins MVP, who should finish runner-up?" Choices are Durant, Kobe, or Dwight. Currently Durant is dominating with 53% of the votes, Kobe is in second with 36% of the votes, and Dwight is in third with 12% of the votes. Your thoughts? Please contribute something other than "who cares about 2nd place mvp, let alone first place"

AnotherCavsFan 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 My 2nd MVP would be a toss-up between Durant and Dwight. Durant has turned that team around, and is 2nd in the NBA in scoring, and is shooting great percentages. I would probably put Durant ahead of Dwight by a tiny bit, simply because when his team needs a bucket, they go to him, and he usually delivers. Dwight is a dominant defender and rebounder, the best in the league to be exact, but I don't see him meaning more to his team than Durant does to the Thunder. GhostAnime 50 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 yeah i'd vote durant too. i think all of these guys have justifiable reasons to be MVP. although it's just perimeter play vs post play.

Without Lebron the Cavs would be a lottery team. Quite possibly worse than the nets.

AddiFB 429 Report post Posted April 2, 2010 I could care less about MVP. Individual bling. I want the team bling. If Dwight gets MVP next year, fine. This year it belongs to LeBron and anyone after that doesn't really matter, you don't get blings for being second. Just bring us the big bling Dwight, let LeBron enjoy his personal bling.
