I see what Wade does to us with little help. Give him Odom AND Boozer, then I'm a lil' worried. Wade/Boozer doesn't scare me, Wade/Odom doesn't scare me; Wade/Boozer/Odom is very solid and that's another team to add to the contender's list (IMO). I just feel getting Odom now, will make Riley that much more determined to get Boozer.

Chalmers

Wade

Odom

Boozer

JO (with full training camp)

6th man = Beasely

One thing i do like is getting this team will keep Wade in Miami instead of joining Lebron somewhere (same as Bosh)

4 thoughts on this...

1 If DWade is surrounded by more talent he will probably score less because he won't have to carry the team

2 We have upgraded at the 2 & 3 spots and now have VC, MP, and Barnes to throw at shooters

3 With the help we added for D12 inside it is going to be harder for guys like Bron, Kobe, and DWade to get to the hole

4 If LAL do indeed lose Odom I don't think they make the finals without picking up someone to fill his shoes (good luck on that!)

ESPNews is reporting that Odom signed a 4 year deal with the Lakers. 4th year is a team option. Total is 33 mil.

An inside source at orlandomagiczone.com has clarified that the Miami Heat will be signing Los Angeles Lakers sixth man Lamar Odom tomorrow, Wednesday the 29th of July. If this signing does indeed go through as speculated, the Heat will add a premier versatile 6'10" forward with endless abilities on the NBA court onto their roster. According to Marc Stein of ESPN, GM Pat Riley is expected to make a "harder push" for Utah Jazz's all-star forward Carlos Boozer If the Heat sign Odom (which looks to be the case, especially since the Lakers have now reduced their original contract proposal to Odom). Could the Heat really pull off a deal in which Boozer would also be added to their roster as well? It is quite obvious that Miami is in serious desperation to retain Dwyane Wade from departing with the Heat franchise next season when he becomes a free-agent.

I think this might be the link.
