The buyout for Stackhouse is 2 million and Cuban is giving Memphis 3 million. Nice tidy profit of 1 million for not doing all that much.

I will bet $2 million goes to Memphis and $1 million comes to the Magic.

 

No that money goes to Memphis plus they are getting an extra 500 thousand as well for a nice tidy profit of 2.5 from Dallas.

Toronto is giving the Magic some cash, the amount not mentioned as of yet.

 

How is Memphis making 2.5 if they get 3 & have to buy out Stack for 2?

 

Dumping Buckner saves Memphis another 2M in buying out his contract, that is the bigger kicker for Memphis in this trade.

Not sure if anybody caught this yet, along with the TPE and an undisclosed amount of cash, we also got a 2nd in 2016 from the Raps. "The deal couldn't have been finalized until Orlando, a team Turkoglu helped advance to the NBA final, agreed to a sign-and-trade".
