FanSince1990 Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 As I understand, we don't necessarily have to have the 5th worst record, just be very lucky with the balls. As of today we are the 13th worst team. What are the statistical chances (how many balls do we have out of the # of total balls)? ----- Quote

nate dizzy Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 I had that same thought today. It might not be that bad if we don't make the playoffs. The first rd pick is lottery protected, and Pat can get lucky with a long shot. Could you see Durant or Oden next to Dwight? It is a deep draft this year and it may not be that bad if we get a lottery pick. Quote
FanSince1990 Posted March 3, 2007 Author Report Posted March 3, 2007 nate dizzy, I thought it's protected only if the pick is 1 through 5. If not it goes to Detroit. Meaning we get nothing, until the 2nd round where we have a pick somewhere, I forget what spot. Quote
