Quick report from Tuesday afternoon's Magic practice...

Magic C Dwight Howard didn't practice Tuesday, the day after putting up 29 points and 19 rebounds in Orlando's 106-99 loss to Portland.

Howard rested with swelling in his left knee, though neither Coach Stan Van Gundy nor Howard seemed particularly worried about it as he is not expected to miss any game action.

"We just cant' seem to get [the swelling] down," Van Gundy said. "Hopefully we can get it down pretty soon."

Said Howard, who was wearing a thin support brace on the knee: "It's no concern. I'm not at all concerned about it."

Van Gundy said the two-hour workout before the team headed to the airport was singular a day after poor execution down the stretch bit them against Portland.

"We worked on trying to move the ball better," he said. "That was our entire emphasis...We simply all aren't moving the ball well right now."
