That's weird that sling does that. If you had cable you'd be fine

I use Sling and always just use the Fox Sports App on my Roku to watch the games. You just login with your Sling credentials. I don't pay extra for the DVR service, but with the Fox Sports app you can rewind and fast forward as you need. I always start the games about 40 minutes after they start airing and I can just fast forward through the ten minute intro, all the commercials, and halftime. It ends up getting  over just around the same time that way.

It's kind of weird but it's more advantageous for the magic to tie the heat than for the magic to have a better record than the heat.

Because if the magic end up tied against the nets or Pistons then they hold the tiebreaker over us. But if it's a three team tie, the magic hold the tiebreaker over the other teams because they won the division

I think something similar happening with my Gators and the SEC East a few years back (in football). I think it was a three way tie one season and we won the tiebreaker, but would have lost it in a two way scenario. I might be remembering wrong though, forget what year it was. It looks like it's gonna be really close between us, Detroit, Miami, and Brooklyn (Charlotte might have too much ground to cover, but that last game with them could end up determining our season).

Haven’t seen it talked about on here yet: tonight is Chris Bosh jersey retirement night. Will be a lot of emotion and probably a good crowd in the building. Spoelstra has already confirmed the team will stay on the court for halftime to see the ceremony.

Does this help us or hurt us? I can make an argument either way.

Let's hope they forgot to instruct fans to fan up.
