This off season is a testament to Dwight Howard, the bad teammate, coach killer, disgruntled former star.
He has so many former teams that could have used a back-up center on minimum.

Orlando has the deepest team it has had in years and could have used a mentor or depth. Stretches Mozgod to sign Birch. This one is the least likely, they have youth and an all-star at center.
The Lakers need veterans who have already made money and need a ring. They sign Mcgee and Cousins. Definitely more upside there, didn't help himself with his tenure at both clubs. And lastly, the Rockets make a huge trade, they are going for it in the western conference. The Rockets have almost no depth at center, this is a team really going for it.The Rockets sign Tyson Chandler.

Clearly Dwightmare Howard has burned more bridges then anyone in NBA history.

He was pretty good too the year before last (as far as his stats).

Yeah, the Warriors created some sort of false narrative where people thought they were bad at D. They’re elite at D, just double-elite at O. Points allowed doesn’t always equal bad defense, especially when you play at an off the charts pace.

I'm not sure how, a lot of the commentators always mention their D when they play their games. Do most people watch the games on mute?

The only way we could have done that was if we renounced Ross and Vooch and stretched Moz. Clearly, management aims to give Fultz a legit shot and wanted the other guys back. Moz still is an untapped resource for us to leverage, too.

I gave you a like because of the number.  :P

The asterisk talk is weird when it comes from Magic fans (speaking in general) because none of us felt that way when a KG-less Celtics team was defeated on our run to the finals.

I heard it from so many people (not really Magic fans though). But yeah, no Jameer(he was an all star that season). He destroyed the Lakers in the regular season that year if I remember correctly. Probably part of why we brought him back for the Finals, but probably shouldn't have, especially not in crunch time defensively (didn't Fisher drain one in his eye at the end of a game or in OT?)

    Champion with a giant asterisk

You can put an asterisk next to pretty much anything if you try hard enough. You could argue Golden State wouldn't have any of their recent titles if certain things didn't happen (injuries to Kyrie and Love for their first and the fact they wouldn't have KD to lead them to the other ones if not for the cap going up a ridiculous amount that season allowing them to sign him). Yeah, I know pretty dumb arguments, but so is putting an asterisk next to Toronto. Injuries and other things happen every single season.

I just Looked up an image of a separated rib. My question is: If it feels like you've been shot, how can he play with that pain? As I posted earlier, I had an acute fracture in one of the bones in my back (L5) It was painful if I coughed or while turning a steering wheel, etc.

My fracture happened because I tried to be superwoman and lifted something that was really, really heavy.

It's possible that a professional athlete might be tougher than you.

Thanks for the kind words TMF. Much appreciated. Still pretty bummed that the Magic were bounced out early. However a lot of these match ups have been fun to watch. To me the most shocking thing to see was Steve Kerr dropping F-Bombs on live tv! That was quite bizarre.

I missed game 2. When did he do that?

Kevin Durant?  You're skeptical of Kevin Durant?

I'm just hatin'. He is playing with a starting lineup of all stars though. I do hope he goes somewhere else though; I like his game, but I don't really like the Warriors. Especially Draymond, I want to punch him in his face.

  9. I never really followed the Avengers, but I decided to record the first two to see what the big deal is because they came on SciFi recently. I'm watching the first and I'm near the end and they never really explained how Banner was able to start controlling the Hulk all of a sudden. He hasn't been able to do it for years and now suddenly he just can?

    My man KD is 1A.

Did you see Durant, at argurably 6'9", doing it all? . . .slashing to the basket for layups, then falling to the floor into the cameramen (which is something a shorter player would do)? going hard to the basket for slam dunks (and not shoving or elbowing people to do it)? making opponents foul him while making 3 pt. shots?

Kawahi is more of a slasher and 10 ft' jumpers. How many three pointers does he average?

When KD decides to take over a game, HE TAKES OVER. . .SLASHING, LAYUPS, THREE PT SHOTS!. . .Get out of his way!

    KD is the Man!!!

Maybe he'll go somewhere else and we'll be able to see if he can do it  and win without joining an established team that won 73 games.
