There are and should be limitations on all of our rights when it comes to public standards and safety. You can't drive your car at 100 mph on I-4, you can't walk into a restaurant in bare feet and a speedo, you can't yell "fire" in a public place (unless there is one), you can't carry a concealed weapon without a background check and a permit. All of these restrictions are to promote public safety. The circumstances of this virus are such that the public health officials have declared that wearing a mask while out in public may significantly slow the spread of this virus. This isn't about your rights, it is about everyone's right not to be exposed to a horrific and potentially lethal disease. If you choose not to wear a mask, you aren't just exposing yourself to germs, you are potentially exposing everyone else around you to whatever you may be carrying. Is it uncomfortable, does it make breathing more difficult and your glasses fog up, does it look stupid - yes to all of the above. You do have an alternative, keep your selfish ass at home. Put on your big boy pants and do your part instead of whining like an entitled child who doesn't know any better. It is not an individual choice, it is the current standard for public safety. Get over it.

Very well said; I couldn't agree more.

This doesn't surprise me at all. They should probably take a look at their financial decisions though if they are living paycheck to paycheck. The minimum is like 898 thousand (and that's just for rooks. I think it goes up to 1.4 mil in year 2). I get that It's peanuts compared to the owners, but some Americans make less than 898 thousand in their lifetimes.

Personally, I think it should be split - if you are on a rookie contract or are a veteran making less than a mid-level contract - 25%, if you are a veteran on a mid-level contract or above - 50%. Easy to figure out and reduces the impact on the guys that don't have that 4th vacation home.

Yeah, something like that would be good. Or just take 100% from the owners; I'm sure they'll be fine.

I think it's probably a longshot that we will see more games this season, but I guess it's good they are exploring this.

Yeah he also said in the sentence prior that they were going to sweep the Lakers... a series they ended up not winning. Doesn't seem like his evaluation holds much water.

Yeah, they lost in 6 games too. We lost in 5, but two of those first three games were really close and the series could've easily been 2-1 in our favor heading into game 4. We also manhandled the Cavs in the ECFs (6 games, but the series wasn't nearly as close as that).

Here is a crucial coronavirus update:  Fox Sports will rebroadcast a Magic game tonight at 8 PM.  According to my sources, this will be the November 15th,  2019 game against the Spurs.  We now return to the arguments currently in progress... after 10 minutes of commercials...

NBA League Pass is free now, so you can watch any games.
