  1. I wonder why he doesn't just coach college, he wouldn't have to worried about egos as much(according to his resume he was an assistant college coach for a while and the Badgers head coach for one season).

LOL, Doug Collins really didn't like that trade.

So are we the youngest team in the NBA now? We might be looking at our roster.

Isn't it time to get a new sig?
  6. http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/rebounds/sort/avgRebounds/year/2013/seasontype/2 Trade looking better and better.
  7. LOL, agreed. Everyone is so cynical on these internets.
  8. Value and perceived value aren't the same thing.
  9. I'd almost be surprised if he didn't get up there with how consistent he has been(then again Big Baby is coming back soon, so that might take away from his rebounding a bit).
  10. Didn't Hollinger basically call us going to the Finals?(he actually picked against us, but in his statistical standings we were always at the top or near the top that season). I think he even mentioned it in his analysis that he was picking against his own system. I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly though.
  11. Do you think that had anything to do with the fact that we only had one national TV game this entire season? I'm not trying to start a conspiracy theory here, but it does look a little strange that we had only one scheduled BEFORE trading Dwight when we've had several in the last few seasons. It's like the NBA knew for sure that he was being traded, but how could they have known?
  12. Agree completely. I guess it was a poor choice of words to say he would KNOW Vuc would be this type of player. Still, I'm starting to really trust this GM's logic, something I couldn't say in the previous regime.
  13. Hi-Top: Hennigan did basically say the rumored Houston deal didn't actually exist in the press conference. There were sources saying the Houston deal was cap relief OR talent OR draft picks(or some combination of the 3, but absolutely not the rumored deal). But you're correct, I guess we won't ever truly know what was offered. I will still give Hennigan the benefit of the doubt when he said the trade offer from Houston wasn't as good as was initially reported.
  14. Great post, and it's basically the point I was trying to get to in this thread. The trade looks better today than it did when it was made. Whether that was luck or skill on Hennigan's part is up in the air, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
  15. Just because you didn't see it coming doesn't mean Hennigan didn't. I'm not saying he did, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that he did.

Anyone hear anything about Big Baby lately?
  17. Glad to see at least a few people see what I was trying to say. PS - Good to see a win tonight, even though it pretty much means nothing besides hurting our lotto position. It meant something to me though; I was craving a win even if logic says we don't really need it. Go Magic!

Yeah, I hope it works out that way. I want to see Jameer spend his whole career here, but he'll most likely have to move to the bench in a few years if we keep him.
  19. No problem. He's on ignore.
  20. It's the only part that I could find any substance in. I've been lurking on this site for years watching you try to be an internet tough guy to people. Continue to do it if you like, I have no reason to interact with you any further.
  21. We should have been able to get 5 Vooches for what we gave up under the circumstances? Dwight made it so we could only trade him to certain teams, no matter what we did we were going to come out with less value than what we gave(None of us actually know what Houston was offering, but I'll give Hennigan the benefit of the doubt when he said it wasn't what the media made it out to be). I really don't consider that "getting raped" as you put it. It's making the best of a bad situation. I'm just saying the trade is already starting to yield better results than expected. You're basically arguing semantics in an attempt to get under my skin. It's not working. We get it, it was a bad trade. It was still one we pretty much had to make. What else were we going to do, just let Howard walk?
