Official 2014-2015 Strapped-In Season Thread

So I read Oladipo might be healed in time for the regular season. They aren't saying this about Frye, was his injury more severe?(or maybe it's because he's older) -

We only played them in that one ECF series. A lot of people said we couldn't get by the Celtics during that period, which is a good point because we barely beat them in 7 games without KG(I know, we didn't have Nelson), then basically got embarrassed by them the next season in the ECFs. -

He's only about 6 months older than me. I guess I'm old. -
Does anyone know why only 1 game of pre season is going to be broadcasted
jjgator replied to KRISH10's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Didn't they only have 2 or 3 preseason games on TV when the Magic were good? We're lucky they are even showing one. -

The Wolves lucked out for basically the first time in their existence. I'm proud of them(seriously).

Wolves got more value for Love than we did for Dwight?

Cavs management sucks and LeBron has homer **** in his eyes. Cavs management only makes deals that will make the papers. It's downright sickening what LeBron is walking into. He's set for a while; his decision had little to do with his location and more to do with the fact that Cleveland is stacked now(on paper). -

It's kind of cute how bad ESPN sucks. You have to pay money for articles that actually talk about sports rather than Manziel's tardiness or penchant for anger(and even then the articles still suck). -
Blake Bortles future Pro Bowl QB.

Why? If he's awful I'm sure they won't keep running plays for him. Ben Gordon was a cap floor signing, but I wouldn't be disappointed to see him regain his form. They only thing I can think of is it might take away from running plays for some of our younger guys(basically the rest of the team), but there should be plenty of 'ball' to go around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DabmENJkRJA

Probably not, but maybe knowing the East. We could very well be worse than we were last season. I think people are underestimating what we lost and the fact that we have like 2 and a half vets(insert horrible two and a half men photoshop here) and and a bunch of 18 year olds. I'm still all in for the 8 seed(I know, it's the worst place we could be in the draft. Shut up), even though it won't happen probably. Thoughts? Someone photoshop Magic on that old dude's jersey:

I don't see why the Cavs don't just wait until Love is a free agent(or will they not have the cap room to sign him to a max deal?)

I can not decide what jersey I want, help?

The only Magic jersey I own is Dwight's. :svgsad: -

When I was in 2nd grade we had an assistant teacher that would play soccer with us. He'd never take it easy on us like many adults would when playing with children. I remember getting smacked right in the face pretty hard by a soccer ball when I was playing goalie. -
Here is an interesting article about Frye from Orlando Pinstriped Post: http://www.orlandopinstripedpost.com/2014/7/22/5924117/2014-nba-free-agents-channing-frye-shooting-orlando-magic-phoenix-suns

This almost looks like a swipe at Nelson's old teammates: “My 3-point percentage hopefully will go up playing with better guys,” he said. “The looks will be there. Dirk will draw a lot of attention. Monta draws a lot of attention. Chandler Parsons, too. Everybody's going to draw attention, so somebody's going to be open. I'm just preparing myself to make open shots. He probably should have said something like, ".... playing with more experienced guys." http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/24635701/report-mavericks-meeting-with-jameer-nelson-expected-to-sign-him

I also think part of it is Wiggins looks like he'd definitely take a few years to develop. LeBron honestly might lose a step by the time Wiggins is ready. Love is ready now.
