IMO Devyn Marble looked 100% better than Curry. Curry is a shooter and that's it. Marble can play D, rebound and shoot pretty well.

Just a quick note I'd like to throw out there. I listened to the post game/scrimmage interviews and Aaron Gordon said he is much more comfortable at the 3 as its a little easier to see his role/moves out on the court. He said he's still learning the 4 but IMO its more of a bruising position and he needs to add on weight/muscle if he wants that. Also heard that in Wes Unseld Jr.'s post game tidbit that they see Aaron at the 3 mainly but he could slide to the 4 if needed but from this game on he will be at the 3 for sure. Ohh and btw Marble... "He can flat out Bucket"

IYO that's fine. However the Magic will not be a contender for at least 4 years.. So signing someone to help your rookies grow and get better shots is a terrible signing lol. Tobias can slide to the 3-SF which suits him better on both sides of the ball and get more minutes because Harkless isn't progressing as he should. Frye will play 20-30 minutes and Gordon will get 15-20 minutes easily with this roster. With the rotation below we let Harris start at the 3 and Frye at the 4 with Gordon slowly coming of the bench like Oladipo did last year and we still can grow. KOQ can play the 4 or even the 5 at times, Nicholson isn't on the roster IMO waste of space/roster spot. I am all about getting younger players minutes however this signing helps with DEPTH and another face to learn from, which is what playoff teams have. PF: Frye, Gordon,KOQ,Nicholson--> Should be sent to D League SF: Harris, Harkless, Green C: Vuc, KOQ, Dedmon

How is Frye not a short term answer? He creates space to help our rookie/2nd year players to get better shots and be more confident on the court. He is better than any PF we have on the team and will start from day 1. He wasn't brought here for Veteran Leadership alone, if you think/agree with that then that's ok.

Oh my lord no he didn't go there.. wait wait yeah he did. Price and Maxiel.. that's so funny the last time I heard that I fell of my dinosaur. Price+Maxiel were nothing more than a D League/Summer League player. The fact that you can't grasp why this signing is a good one is crazy. So what we paid a little more for a stretch 4 that "can only shoot the 3". Did you not see the part where he raised Dragic's 3 ball from 29.1 to 46.7 % just by being on the floor? That's huge, almost 20% increase all just because he can space things out. Or did you not see the pick and pop the suns ran time after time with Frye and Dragic. The Magic will run that as well and we could even have more options with it IE: Gordon lob, Dipo jumpshot, Frye 3.. I think we are all nervous/excited with the big FA's out there however we are in no spot to lure them here. It's going to take time like everyone has said 2-4 years, it could be improved with a big FA in 15' of 16' but lets trust the system until it can't be trusted/dumps progressing players for a Gilbert Arenas.

Its the summer league, give the man a break. Yeah it might not be his shot but both of those were open chances. I wouldn't doubt it if in a couple months he is stroking a couple of those come regular season gametime. We shouldn't put a lot into summer league other than hustle, defense and who fits well with each other. Shooting will come once they get in the gym and shoot 300+ shots a day or whatever. When Gordon doesn't box out of doesn't rebound that's when I'll start to worry. Payton looked much better and almost had triple double, yeah its against houston's D option's but it shows that he knows how it works. Pass first then that will create chances also that slow hesitation move he had for the dunk was cheeky cheeky.

Frye brings much more to this team in different ways. He can shoot the ball, to help oladipo and payton grow/navigate the court you need someone who can space it out. Watch Frye's Highlights he is wide open most the time at the top of the key and he can pass out of there as well. Very efficient and another leader to help these rookies

And with that signing it has to be the end of Nicholson getting any minutes. Look it might not be the best signing in FA but he can shoot the ball. Henny is looking to load the team with shooters and see if one fits. He also played 82 games this past year so health is not a problem! Good FT shooter and has averages 10+ PPg for the last 4 years in Phoenix

Two players that make the roster IMO would be Marble and Osby.. Osby can take nicholsons 8-10 minutes and actually hustle and play well on both ends of the ball. Marble can flat out shoot the ball with confidence something that Harkless has shown he has none of. Sad to think all the athletic ability Harkless has but he just doesn't seem to be confident/assertive when he is on the court.

He declined because he wants to see if anyone would OVERPAY for him... Just because Melo goes to Houston and Magic offer 10 mil doesn't mean Parsons is coming to Orlando.. The final call is to Houston and at 10 Mil they would be dumb not to match.. But lets say Magic were to offer 12-15 its a different ballgame

Then great, it would be a better deal but Parsons isn't going to make a decision until Melo has signed with Houston or someone offers him 11-15 mil. It goes both ways, Houston is telling him hold on hold on, Parson's agent is saying if someone offers you anything above 11 then look at it. I get your point that Houston wouldn't keep him if Melo goes but that's another "what if "scenario and Rob doesn't seem to do What if scenarios. he has a plan and will stick to it unless a better options becomes available.

Because at 8-10 Houston would match that and why wouldn't Parsons stay in his current situation. Its going to take somewhere between 12-15 to pull him away from Houston... Come on think about it its not that hard.

No because if you're adding a parsons at 12-15 mil and expect him to be the holy grail and build around him then its overpaying him. If you want him to come in be a consistent shooter and be a COMPLEMENTARY player to other players or 1 star then 12-15 mil might not be that bad. However the Magic need more than a complimentary player and a shooter. So why throw away the Cap Space for 10 more wins?

On the Magic no way, Parson's value is over rated/inflated due to being on a team with superstars. When you have guys like Dwight and Harden to take pressure off of him. His per was 15.9 which is marginally above the league average of 15.0 for the SF position. Parson for 7-9 mil would be great, he can space the floor and shoot well. However his D is awful and he's going to ask for 12-15 per so with his limited skill set I wouldn't want him.
