It's insulting

Awful deal. Can't believe we held out this long for this deal. Can't wait to see the Magic brass spin this one.

I don't see why the Magic wouldn't just take Pau and Bynum for D12. I'm sure the Magic can find another player just as good as Al Harrington to go to LA.

A 6'8" center sounds like bad news to me.

Are you sure it hurts? What if HOU can move Asik by the deadline or next offseason as part of a package to land Josh Smith or someone of that caliber? Centers like Asik are pretty coveted around the league.

That's my point. And there's absolutely no scenario where they'd get a better 4 than Pau? I seriously doubt that. They'll do what's best for their squad and if it means trading Pau, they'll do it.

This is a business. If D12 wants out, cool. But he's under contract with the Magic. Magic will do whatever they want with him, regardless of D12's wishes. Whether that's sending him to LA or HOU, it will be about what the Magic want. Not what D12 "deserves" or does not deserve.

Eh bringing in players is going to take some patience. Don't see how we have the means to do that.

He didn't call him that per say. The way I interpreted it was that he was saying that's how others perceive him and that D12 knows this. Rudolph even said, "I don't think that", if I recall correctly.

I never heard that. Been listening the whole time. The part about getting a deal for a legit stud I heard. But I never heard that that was the end all be all.

Personally, I would. I get Johnson isn't worth his deal, but that team would contend for the next 4 years. I actually thought of this exact scenario a month ago. I believe it was JJ/BBD/Turk/J-Rich/19th pic for Johnshon and Smith. It saves ATL money long-term. Talent wise it's a wash, but you got to think ATL wouldn't mind getting out from under Johnson's contract. We'd also have a pretty high octane offense with a good point guard at the helm.
